Pine Barrens Mafia Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 One of the great rock vocalists of my generation
Best Player Available Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 great human being. Helped kids out with his financial generosity. And one of the major voices of grunge. RIP.
YoloinOhio Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 (edited) The Temple of the Dog album might be one of my all time favorites. He wrote all the lyrics. Edited May 18, 2017 by YoloinOhio
YoloinOhio Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 He was supposed to perform tomorrow night in Columbus with Soundgarden at Rock on the Range.
Pete Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 http://www.rollingstone.com/music/features/temple-of-the-dog-an-oral-history-w442502 eerie top music headline at Rolling Stone. Cornell also played a late night gig at Detroit last night. I believe it ended around 1 am. There is recorded video of him playing his last song my guess is carfentanil or fentanil
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 He was supposed to perform tomorrow night in Columbus with Soundgarden at Rock on the Range. I saw Soundgarden two times. Once with Danzig and warrior soul and once at lollapalooza. Both shows were awesome
PaattMaann Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 we were just talking about him in the shoutbox a couple of days ago.... man this makes me really sad what.a.voice.
Mark80 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 (edited) Terrible. Staley and Cornell were the best voices of the grunge era, more than Cobain and Vedder IMO. I just hope it was natural causes. Edited May 18, 2017 by Mark80
thebandit27 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 I always liked Soundgarden and Temple of the Dog, but his stuff with Audioslave was easily his best IMO.
