I discussed this a few days ago (I'll find the post and repost it here) but this is a sign that someone is VERY scared of where the dossier trail ends... and it's not Trump. The evidence from the DOJ IG report thus far paints a pretty clear picture as to why the dossier was "created". Fusion GPS was a subcontractor for the FBI who was accessing raw SIGINT collected by NSA and stored on FBI servers. They were illegally unmasking Trump team officials to use in their opposition research for the DNC/Clinton campaign (it's a fact subcontractors were illegally accessing NSA SIGINT unsupervised, it's my speculation that Fusion was among them but the evidence is mounting day by day) until April of 2016 when Admiral Rogers shut this spigot off. He was alerted to the unusual 702 requests on US targets and acted. It's important to note here as well that Horowitz, the DOJ Inspector General, tried for four years to get oversight into the FBI counter-intel division that was the source of these abuses. Each and every time he was denied by Holder and eventually 44 himself. He was told, and it's on the record, that he'd never get that information. Why was Holder and company so scared of the IG having that information? Because it would have exposed the fact these 702 abuses went FAR beyond just the '16 election. Back to Rogers - In April of 2016 is - not coincidentally - 44 went about trying to assassinate the character of Rogers through the press. When Rogers took action that April, it left the black hats in the FBI/DOJ (Strzok, Page, McCabe, Baker, Ohr et al) in a bind. They now needed a LEGAL justification for not just the prior 702 requests, but a FISA warrant to continue the operation against Trump's team. This is when the dossier came onto the scene (June of 2016), using both Steele and Simpson as cutouts for its creation. The thought, at the time, was that they would get away with this all because HRC was going to win and she'd replace Rogers. With Rogers gone, all the questions go away and HRC's administration would re-open the spigot and play ball. Then she lost. And then all the black hats in the FBI/DOJ were exposed. They had to act fast - (read: the "insurance policy" reference in Strzok's texts) and then put into motion their plan to use the Russian story as a means to force either a resignation or impeachment. And honestly, had it not been for Rogers (who met with Trump the day after the election and told him all of this - this is evidenced by Team Trump moving from Trump towers to NJ during the transition: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/11/18/trump-brings-transition-team-quiet-new-jersey-town/94097100/) and Flynn - this insurance plan might have worked. But it didn't. Because Flynn and Rogers played them all. And now there is a clear trail that leads from the dossier back to all the people connected to this illegal 702 abuse. That's BIG names like Holder, Rice, and 44 himself along with FBI agents, DOJ officials, and FISA judges and yes, HRC's campaign. So the plan now is to DEFLECT all this by saying the black hats in the FBI (and the HRC campaign/44 Administration by extension) who DID break the law to illegally unmask team Trump were only doing so because THEY WERE TRICKED! It was Russian Disinfo! Not a coordinated effort on behalf of the Obama Administration and Clinton campaign to use the FBI and USIC to rig an election and undermine a legally elected POTUS. In order for that deflection to work though, they would also have to admit that the Mueller investigation is bunk. If you read between the lines, this shift in public talking points is an OFFER. A plea bargain. This is one group talking to the new administration through the media. HRC/44/the DNC are saying they're willing to end the Mueller charade IF Sessions doesn't bring further charges against them for the 702 abuses. Which is really quite amazing. But there won't be any deals. Just watch... On 1/11/2018 at 10:43 PM, Deranged Rhino said: Oooh boy... I'm still working through it, but it looks now like Fusion GPS - in its role as a subcontractor for the FBI - was able to gain access to a FBI database of raw SIGINT (from the NSA). Tiberius Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Senator Flake today: To be very clear, to call the Russia matter a “hoax” – as the president has many times – is a falsehood. We know that the attacks orchestrated by the Russian government during the election were real and constitute a grave threat to both American sovereignty and to our national security. It is in the interest of every American to get to the bottom of this matter, wherever the investigation leads. Ignoring or denying the truth about hostile Russian intentions toward the United States leaves us vulnerable to further attacks. We are told by our intelligence agencies that those attacks are ongoing, yet it has recently been reported that there has not been a single cabinet-level meeting regarding Russian interference and how to defend America against these attacks. Not one. What might seem like a casual and routine untruth – so casual and routine that it has by now become the white noise of Washington – is in fact a serious lapse in the defense of our country.
Deranged Rhino Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Let's have fun with Flake: Flashback: August 3, 2009 Putin posts what would become a trend for him... What else happened in August of 2009? http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/10/11/AR2009101101760.html?sid=ST2009101101762 Fake - I mean Flake GAVE the WaPo his shirtless pictures to publish: Why did Flake make this trip? Because, as he said to CNN, he "felt like a pansy". http://www.fontcraft.com/nationalbroadside/?p=1045 Flake published the shirtless pictures for the SAME reason Putin did: to show POWER. He said his trip was planned two years in advance - but his own diary shows that's a lie: http://thehill.com/images/stories/news/2009/october/weekend1010/jeff flakes vacation diary_updated.pdf He sprang his trip on everyone, it was a spur of the moment reaction to seeing Putin's shirtless pics and their impact... And now he says Trump is like Stalin. Later, Jeff. You're what's wrong with this country's politicians. 1

Warren Zevon Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 An interesting development in regards to thread topic also occurred this morning. http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/nation-world/national/article195231139.html FBI investigating whether Russian money went to NRA to help Trump WASHINGTON The FBI is investigating whether a top Russian banker with ties to the Kremlin illegally funneled money to the National Rifle Association to help Donald Trump win the presidency, two sources familiar with the matter have told McClatchy. FBI counterintelligence investigators have focused on the activities of Alexander Torshin, the deputy governor of Russia’s central bank who is known for his close relationships with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and the NRA, the sources said. While the report is classified as Top Secret, I believe the select committee should, pursuant to House rules, vote to make the report publicly available as soon as possible.
