The biography provided by Barack Obama to his literary agent specified his birthplace as “Kenya” and, over the course of 17 years, despite multiple revisions by Obama, the Kenyan birthplace remained a fundamental part of the bio on the agent’s website.

Burr and Warner's jobs will be to make it sound as if the initial collusion story was incorrect but there's something deeper and more nefarious going on involving Russia, so explosive that it must remain classified from the American public. That allows them to stoke the conspiracy fires for years, drowning out any attempts to bring to light the actual story... That the Senate Intel committee is the swampiest committee on the entire Hill.

Simpson ran the Fusion GPS firm hired by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic Party to find dirt on Trump in Moscow. He employed retired British intelligence operative Christopher Steele, whose infamous and unverified dossier became the main evidence for the FBI’s probe of the Trump campaign, particularly the surveillance warrant against Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. And by the time of the meeting, the House intelligence committee had already received evidence from a senior Justice Department official, Bruce Ohr, that called into question Simpson’s testimony to lawmakers. This is an old story, and has been the version of the truth I have tended to believe when it came to the birth certificate nonsense. (Nonsense, by the way, started by the Clintons, not the right.) It was never that Obama was born in Kenya, but that he told everyone he was born in Kenya to get that extra diversity edge for college admissions and publishing. Much like a certain rich white chick spent her life telling everyone she was of Cherokee heritage, and ran with the minority status through her entire collegiate career. It's a way to game the system on the back of diversity, and no one will game the system better than a leftist.
