DOJ Appoints Robert Mueller as Special Counsel - Jerome Corsi Rejects Plea Deal

Mueller isn't going to pull an "Aha!" moment and perp-walk his own team.

It would be really cool to see, but it isn't happening.

That's not what I'm expecting for clarity.

Mueller's job (per this theory) is to keep the plotters together chasing their tail while he watches, and to ultimately write a report that clears Trump of any Russian Conspiracy/Collusion nonsense.

Any charges brought or perp walks done will be done by the DOJ and Barr, based on the conduct of the investigators. This is why the leak investigation instigated by Sessions is so key. We've already seen it nab several of Mueller's team (Strzok/Page).

ya know, this is a really interesting point and one that may be lost in the shuffle but it may be right over the target.

ask yourself (not you, you, a generalization you) why did Mueller react so quickly to the Buzzfeed story, what the implication of a leak originating from his team would mean.

the intrigue rivals a John Grisham novel.

The first sentence, I can see.

The second sentence, I can't.

The Buzzfeed article is B.S. and is presented as coming directly from Mueller's people.  Not much more to read into it than that.

(Jeff scooped Solomon - but it's still worth the read)

Just putting some key excerpts here:

The tsunami began when former MI6 agent Steele first approached an FBI supervisor, his handler in an earlier criminal case, in London. That approach remarkably occurred on July 5, 2016, the same day then-FBI Director James Comey announced he would not pursue criminal chargesagainst Clinton for mishandling classified emails on a private server.

If ever there were a day for the Clinton campaign to want to change the public narrative, it was July 5, 2016.

(snip: The State Dept is where the dirtiest swamp creatures lurk)

Then-senior State Department official Jonathan Winer, who worked for then-Secretary John Kerry, wrote that Steele first approached him in summer with his Trump research, and then met again with him in September. Winer consulted his boss, Assistant Secretary for Eurasia Affairs Victoria Nuland, who said she first learned of Steele’s allegations in late July and urged Winer to send it to the FBI.

(If you need further intrigue, Winer worked from 2008 to 2013 for the lobbying and public relations firm APCO Worldwide, the same firm that was a contractor for both the Clinton Global Initiative and Russia’s main nuclear fuel company that won big decisions from the Obama administration.)

(snip: As "honest" as Ohr's recent testimony was about what he told the FBI, he did NOT tell them about his wife's Fusion connection making this breakfast even MORE damning)

But Steele was hardly done. He reached out to his longtime Justice Department contact, Bruce Ohr, then a deputy to Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates. Steele had breakfast July 30, 2016, with Ohr and his wife, Nellie, to discuss the Russia-Trump dirt.

(To thicken the plot, you should know that Nellie Ohr was a Russia expert working at the time for the same Fusion GPS firm that hired Steele and was hired by the Clinton campaign through Sussmann’s Perkins Coie.)

(snip: Enter Corn, Mother Jones, and Buzzfeed)

By mid-September — less than a month before Election Day — there likely was agitation inside the Clinton machine: After so many overtures to the FBI, there was no visible sign of an investigation.

Simpson and Steele began briefing reporters with the hope of getting the word out. It is taboo for an FBI source such as Steele to talk to the media about his work. Yet, he took the risk, eventually getting fired for it, according to FBI documents.

(snip: A hail mary - why? Because Adm Rogers 302 exposed Fusion GPS as being one of the subcontractors illegally accessing 702 data without proper oversight or warrants - Clinton was not only his client, she was his partner along with the Obama administration in an illegal spying operation waged on their political opposition FOR YEARS. Her win would assure nothing came of Roger's audit...)

Ohr, through his contacts with Steele and Simpson, also knew the media had been contacted. In handwritten notes from late 2016, Ohr quoted Simpson as saying his outreach to reporters was a “Hail Mary attempt” to sway voters.

(snip: noting here that Solomon is omitting No name's role which was huge. He omits it because people don't associate No Name with the Clintons because he was an R... but they're both uniparty cabal.)

The next and final overture came from one of Clinton’s top acolytes in Congress.

Yup.

(That's a felony with a precedent now thanks to Wolfe/McCabe/and soon Comey)

And for the record, I fully admit and acknowledge this is a fringe idea and way out there for a lot of people. There's a lot of meat to support it, but also a lot of meat to dispute it. Could be wrong here... but I still haven't seen enough to move me off that position just yet.

I didn't believe you on this but I'm coming around.  Also I just saw a UFO getting set to attack but luckily it was shot down by a unicorn shooting lollipops out of its butt.

I should post this in the media thread but it's so on point for this subject and something I've stressed since page 1:

The swings in this story, the smoking guns which turned out to be duds, they all should be remembered for what they were: attempts to lie and manipulate you specifically about this subject.

If they're so eager to lie and manipulate you - when the case, as they've claimed for two years, is so "obvious" and overflowing with "evidence" of Trump/Russia conspiracy - what does that say about how they REALLY feel about the validity of their position?

It was always a coup. Always.

There were all kinds.  Tootsie Pops, Charms, Whirlies, Jolly Rancher, Dum Dum....they all seemed guided by the unicorn butt.  Their strange shapes seemed to throw the unicorn off his game or maybe the UFO had shields.  It was looking grim there for a minute.

The unicorn was getting mad and looked like he wanted to yell.  He nodded at me and I instinctively knew to throw him a packet of silica gel.  He ate it, turned to the UFO, glared and said "Hey you alien ***holes UP YOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".  Then he changed his tactics, and went with a direct weapon:

It was game over at that point.

This was a great interview last night with four people that have been interviewed by Trump. Very interesting take on much of this and how some are turning on each other and Roger Stone. Carter Page just comes across as incredibly naive

Did you listen to the entire segment? When did Trump interview these people? Just what did Carter Page have to say that was so incredibly naïve?

I meant Mueller interviewed them.

Carter Page was naive about how the FBI agents treated him
