Tiberius
Crazy cool how much information the FBI has been able to gather including the Russians personal messages. Quote While representing Russian real-estate conglomerate Prevezon in a federal money-laundering case involving corrupt Russian officials, Veselnitskaya intentionally misled the feds by presenting supposedly independent evidence from the Russian prosecutors office about her clients without disclosing that she had participated in drafting that information with the help of “a senior Russian prosecutor,” the U.S. government alleges. The grand-jury charge claims to show that U.S. officials have accessed communications between Veselnitskaya and her government colleagues back in Moscow—which will be of great interest to Mueller watchers who have pondered the Kremlin’s involvement in Veslenitskaya’s notorious trip to Trump Tower in June 2016. https://www.thedailybeast.com/russian-lawyer-natalia-veselnitskaya-charged-with-obstruction-of-justice-in-money-laundering-case?ref=home

This is the kind of information they redact:Issues and communications related to Ukrainian political events simply were not at the forefront of Mr. Manafort’s mind during the period at issue and it is not surprising at all that Mr. Manafort was unable to recall specific details prior to having his recollection refreshed.? Are they just redacting simply to redact? To make things look sooper-seekret? To give the illusion that the crimes are graver than they really are?

Are they just redacting simply to redact? To make things look sooper-seekret? To give the illusion that the crimes are graver than they really are? Yup. They also redacted the fact that (per Manafort's attorneys) the evidence they're relying on to make the lying charges stick are third hand hearsay rather than direct evidence. That's pretty damning as well to those believing Mueller's sitting on a stockpile of smoking guns.
