A SURE sign he has nothing to offer in terms of collusion or obstruction.

If he had something like that, it would drop/leak before.

Instead, he'll deliver his findings after the midterm... as expected. And then the fun begins.

I'm ok with dropping it after the midterm. No matter what his findings are, half the country is going to scream for his head for 'tainting' the election, were he to drop it as an October surprise.

Agree completely. I'm not advocating it, just stating the reality we live in. There are elements of both parties fighting for their lives that are banking on Mueller's probe saving their assess (politically speaking and legally speaking). If Mueller's probe had produced any bullets, you know that someone would find a way to leak it as an October Surprise.

Limbaugh opining that Mueller is waiting til after the election to see if the dems take control, then he could keep going with the investigation ad infinitum.

Since he doesn't have anything at all of substance

Very possible if Mueller isn't doing what I think he is (which, I admit is not a mainstream view and I'm open to being wrong about).

Really? I heard through a reliable confidential source that he may have possibly been involved in looking at a woman in a manner which made her uncomfortable 25 years ago at an unspecificed date, time, and location.

Why do you support rapists?

The SAR leak has layers and layers to it... not only did she have financial files on Manafort/Cohen etc, she had files on Russia, ISIS, and Iran as well. There's also an unnamed co-conspirator mentioned in the documents released today as well as implications she received the foreign intelligence documents from someone inside the SSCI (can you say Mr. Wolfe?)

Also, Jason Leopold is "Reporter 1" - this has been confirmed. He's a Buzzfeed/Al Jazeera reporter.

She investigated financial crimes.  She'd almost certainly have access to info on Russia, Iran, and ISIS. Given all the money laundering they do.

How much time is she looking at? If she does it suddenly get depressed and get two Taps to the back of the head?

Years - but I don't know the exact number off the top of my head.

She's also going to get sued up the wazoo by everyone who's information she leaked (and they all have high powered, litigious attorneys).

I thought I read 5 years max for each count (of which I believe there are 2) and a 250k fine for each as well

https://thehill.com/hilltv/what-americas-thinking/411963-junket-justice-how-special-interests-pay-to-schmooze-doj-and

Some DOJ officials have a bigger penchant from junkets than others. Take, for example, Andrew Weissmann, the head of DOJ fraud section and the current deputy to special counsel Robert Mueller in the investigation of Russia’s influence on our 2016 election.

Weissmann reported accepting more than a half-dozen free trips between 2016 and 2018, all in the United States and none necessarily to glamorous locations, though Miami wasn’t necessarily a bad place for a junket in March 2017, or San Diego the March before that.
