Tiberius Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 WASHINGTON — The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, has obtained a letter that President Trump and a top political aide drafted in the days before Mr. Trump fired the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, which explains the president’s rationale for why he planned to dismiss the director. The May letter had been met with opposition from Donald F. McGahn II, the White House counsel, who believed that some of its contents were problematic, according to interviews with a dozen administration officials and others briefed on the matter. Mr. McGahn successfully blocked the president from sending Mr. Comey the letter, which Mr. Trump had composed with Stephen Miller, one of the president’s top political advisers. A different letter, written by the deputy attorney general, Rod J. Rosenstein, and focused on Mr. Comey’s handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, was ultimately sent to the F.B.I. director on the day he was fired. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/01/us/politics/trump-comey-firing-letter.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=first-column-region®ion=top-news&WT.nav=top-news&_r=0 It's that Stephen Miller that wrote it.
B-Man Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Quick reminder that Manafort and Trump Tower have nothing to really do with anything other than in the fevered minds of those who cannot get over last November “Will special counsel Mueller examine the DNC server, source of the great Russiagate caper?” Parry prefaces his account of the VIPS analysis with a useful reminder of the origin story: Much to the embarrassment of Hillary Clinton, the released [DNC email] files showed that the DNC had secretly collaborated with her campaign to promote her candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination over that of Bernie Sanders. Clearly, the Clinton campaign needed to lessen the political damage. Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton’s public relations chief, said in a Washington Post essay in March that she worked assiduously during the Democratic nominating convention to “get the press to focus on … the prospect that Russia had not only hacked and stolen emails from the DNC, but that it had done so to help Donald Trump and hurt Hillary.” Thus was laid the cornerstone of the Trump-Russia-collusion conspiracy theory. Since then, the mainstream media have created a climate of hysteria in which this unsubstantiated theory has been conjured into accepted truth. This has resulted in investigations by Congress and a special counsel into President Trump, his family, and his campaign staff for supposed collusion with the Russians. But in their frenzied coverage, the media have downplayed the very odd behavior of the DNC, the putative target of the alleged hack. For, when the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI learned of the hacking claim, they asked to examine the server. The DNC refused. Without explanation, it continues to deny law enforcement access to its server. Why would the purported victim of a crime refuse to cooperate with law e nforcement in solving that crime? Is it hiding something? Is it afraid the server’s contents will discredit the Russia-hacking story?
Tiberius Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 The obstruction of justice case against Trump just looks easy to make. He obviously fired Comey to himself from being investigated. He admitted that. He pressured Comey before that. There are witnesses and now a letter the Trump wrote with that pos Stephen Miller saying even more. Yes, the president attempted to obstruct justice
B-Man Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 The rig is in. The jig is up...............President Trump was right to fire Comey Comey and Clinton: Rigged from the beginning by Steve Cortes Original Article Newly disclosed evidence that then-FBI Director James Comey began working on a statement to reject criminal charges against former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton months before she and other key witnesses were interviewed by the FBI shows that President Trump was right to fire Comey. The evidence proves that Trump and his supporters were correct to say throughout the presidential campaign that Washington operates on a “rigged” crony system that serves the interests of the powerful and rewards corporate globalists to the detriment of the American people

row_33 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Comey was an oddball choice in the first place, got stuck in a bad situation of Hillary being clearly in the wrong but not really seriously enough to charge her with anythingg. Again the Clintons lead a path of jail, bankruptcy, death by suicide or murder for everyone riding their jockstrap. Worse than Keith Richards.
boyst Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 If this all backfired to get Lynch, Comey, Clinton indicted it would be faptastic

Tiberius Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Proof that investigating Trump is starting to backfire for Democrats by John Crudele Original Article Talk about a nothingburger. Look, It's pretty simple. Trump fired the FBI director because he did not like what he was investigating. That's obstruction of justice. It is true that Hillary sent emails. Horrible! But Trump not only admitted on national TV he obstructed justice, he did a bunch of other things also, this is pretty much a slam dunk case in a court of law, but no way Republicans in congress will do anything about it. Still, the president obstructed justice

Comey only appears to be an oddball choice if you don't look at his resume. He's been up to his neck in corruption in the DOJ, Clinton Foundation, and HSBC. He's always been in the pockets of the deep state.
