So many lies, so much to hide, no wonder he wants absolute power, just like every other criminal leader he needs power to obstruct justice. After lying about the meeting, after lying about who wrote the statement, the truth comes out

CNN)In a confidential letter to special counsel Robert Mueller in January, President Donald Trump's legal team acknowledged for the first time that Trump "dictated" the first misleading statement put out about his son's controversial 2016 meeting with Russians at Trump Tower.

"Lures"...

utnEmMNv.jpg:large

The above is from the DOJ, the below is the same text released from the Horowitz's office. Notice what wasn't redacted by Horowitz:

Oconus = Outside the Continental United States.

Lures = HUMAN INTELLIGENCE SOURCES, or "try ons" - this is an admission they were recruiting people to spy and is more proof the FBI was running informants/spies...

... This was from December 2015

The DOJ redacted it - but Horowitz wanted it out there. Now why would he do that?

Note, this is Stzok asking Page, the Deputy AG for the CID for approval. That means it's McCabe or Comey directly signing off on this request (again, in 2015).

Is he investigating whether the FBI politicized the Clinton Email thing? Might he not just lend credence that the FBI helped hand Trump the election? Isn't this thing a double edged sword here?

The Horowitz report could be a recipe for Dijon Baked Salmon and the Trumpeteers would still find a way to mold it to their conspiracy.

No. The context of the conversation is the primary season and the 2016 election. This is evidence the FBI-CID was using lures outside the United States to spy on, entrap, and dirty up members of the opposing campaigns as early as December 2015. That's months before the official FBI investigation was opened (which makes the use of lures illegal btw) and blows up (again) the entire denial of the past three weeks.

Horowitz left it unredacted for a reason. The DOJ was trying to hide it.

They were spying on ALL the campaigns - and using foreign intelligence services to assist them in doing so. If I were a Sanders fan, I'd be pissed. If I were a Rubio or Cruz fan, I'd be livid. This isn't about right v left, dem v rep, Trump v Clinton. It's about the fact 44's administration was abusing our intelligence tools to spy on his political opposition.

The evidence is overwhelming now.

Horowitz was appointed by Obama, so...

No, just in general, Horowitz could find evidence that Rudy G. and right wingers at the FBI pressured Comey to announce the investigation (Which was unprecedented). Rudy G did say he knew something right before Comey came out and announced the reopening of investigation.

The FBI didn't say they were investigating Trump's Russia connections.

He was appointed by Obama - and then prevented by Obama from being able to do his job fully. Why was that? What was Obama and Holder afraid of the IG discovering? Why was the DOJ-NSD specifically designated as off limits to Horowitz's oversight by Obama and Holder?

It's because of the "lures" above. It's because the NSD was abusing 702 data and spying on Congress, their political opposition, and private US citizens.

There's no other reason for this to have happened. None.

Over a dozen people have been fired or demoted because of the reports' contents already... But keep on deflecting. It's funny you're in such a rush to discredit something before you've read it. Kind of like you have an agenda and it's not impartiality.

I'm willing to wait for the report to come out before I jump to conclusions either way.

That would be Rex Ryan.

And yet all your posts on the topic are either trying to downplay the report or deny its existence. So, I don't believe you. You've already made up your mind and won't move off it despite being presented with first hand, primary evidence.

You have a major agenda, Gary. You're just too dishonest to admit what is transparent to everyone who reads your posts.

As I've explained ad nauseum, my posts on this topic are designed to downplay your enthusiasm about a report you have never seen but are positive will blow open your conspiracy theory.

First hand primary evidence is the report - not your conspiratorial drivel.

Don't worry - I won't lose any sleep.

Actually, first hand, primary evidence is also in the demotions and firings and resignations of over a dozen top level personnel. First hand primary evidence is the 99 page FISC opinion memo which details how 85% of the 702 searches in the NSD and CID were illegal. First hand, primary evidence, is the 400+ pages of texts between Strzok and Page released by Horowitz.

You have a clear agenda. Your mind has been made up for awhile and you refuse to move off it even when shown evidence. So again,

Only one of us is being dishonest here. And it's the guy who claims to have no opinion on the matter - while spending months and weeks ignoring evidence and belittling any attempt to discuss it.

I think enough of Greg's theories have come to fruition in the last 18 months that he certainly has NeverGiveUp's level of legitimacy. We've known things here well before they became "breaking news" because of his investigative efforts. Your doubts have to come from either your partisanship or ignorance of Greg's work.
