An untruth told for political CYA reasons rather than national security interests. Let's see if the socially engineered hatred of Trump outweighs their ability for logic, reason, and discern truth from fiction. This has never been about Trump v Clinton. Or USA v Russia. If Mueller is not going to argue collusion in Manafort's case that is very significant. If he's not going after manafort for collusion that means what the Steele dossier says ISN'T valid. That calls into question a whole host of things, including the FISA application on Page and opening of crossfire hurricane. Its over, there was no collusion. Most people have accepted this, even those who hate Trump. They've moved on to "obstruction" of a non existent crime (that won't go their way either). The questions have always been 1) Did they collude with Trump to do so (no evidence of this), and 2) Did their interference change the election outcome (no evidence of this). Russia meddled in our election in 2016 - as they have in every single election we've had in the last century and a half. They weren't alone, China meddled too. So did Britain, Germany, France, and Australia. Where's your outrage for those nations' interference? Especially considering in the case of Britain, Germany, and France they actively sought to overthrow a sitting POTUS by teaming up with Russian intelligence services. But I don't hear you saying boo about that. Wonder why... Oh, no I don't.
