Tiberius
Well, the blood is in the water. Republicans are sick of this, McCain has called this a Watergate situation and people are no longer defending him that much outside of the right wing media. Even Fox exposed its poor viewers last night to the bad news. The thought of Mike Pence being in charge has to make GOP feel good but taking down Trump could get pretty ugly and the Democrats could make the Republicans do the heavy lifting. There is this, the 25th Amendment: Section 4.Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President. Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office. It's high time political feels get set aside and the best interests of the country are thought of and acted upon. None of us Democrats are going to like Pence but at least he seems competent and intelligent.

Rockpile233
I understand it's incredibly rare, but it is possible for an incumbent president to be primaried correct? The Don's supporters are drying up.
Tiberius
Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) on Wednesday said reports that President Trump pressed ousted FBI Director James Comey to end an investigation would merit impeachment if true, becoming the first Republican lawmaker to broach the idea. http://thehill.com/homenews/house/333803-first-republican-raises-impeachment-for-trump I understand it's incredibly rare, but it is possible for an incumbent president to be primaried correct? The Don's supporters are drying up. Yes. In 1980 Edward Kennedy tried to knock off Jimmy Carter and during the Civil War the Radical Republicans, upset with the state of the war in early summer of 1864, tried to have Lincoln replaced on the ticket but failed. So it can happen.

It is possible, but I doubt Trump runs again regardless of how the remainder of the term goes.

Way to misrepresent what was said. Asked by The Hill if the details in the memo would merit impeachment if they're true, Amash replied: "Yes." What do you mean "we", Kimosabe? Actually the media tore down "their girl" so they could cover the freak show. They'd never get these kind of ratings or readership with a normal administration. For some reason you are totally blind when it comes to her. Have you been like, you know, pleasuring yourself while looking at her picture or something?
