Balance of OTA's and Mini Camp

Recommended Posts

@JaySkurski

Sammy Watkins just took a team rep in 11-on-11 work. Progress. #Bills

@SalSports

That was the first time Watkins took a rep in 11/11 or even 7/7 this offseason. McDermott said plan is to get him ready for camp.

Jerel Worthy is getting the starting snaps in place of Kyle Williams. LBs are Alexander, Humber, P. Brown.

I'm cheering for Worthy to advance his game this year.

McCoy got a bug watching the Basket Ball game last night. He won 62,500 on his big 200k bet. You know he stayed up to watch it.

he got a "bug" getting tipsy popping bottles spending his 60k

Good guesses, but Maclin signing with the Ravens is what made him sick.

The Bills head coach talks about what to expect from mandatory minicamp, still looking to improve the roster, Tyrod Taylor's growth and leadership, and Zay Jones learning the playbook.

@JoeBuscaglia

Watkins took team drill reps for 1st time since surgery. Here's everything McDermott said about the WR's progress: https://t.co/ZpcI28xrCD

Sounds like McD and company have Sammy slated to do a full camp. Not a surprise but that is something that I love to hear.

They are making a decision on him

As opposed to last year when the Ryans forced Watkins into action when he wasnt ready.......Sammy should be healed by now or at least will be and needs to live up to his billing.

I think "forced" into action is inaccurate. There is a list of WR's who had the same injury and the scenario played out almost exactly the same. I think once he gets cleared McD and company will have him out there practicing regularly which he hasn't been able to do much since being drafted.

It's basically a contract year for him because the team declined the option, it's safe to expect big things if he is indeed healthy.
