Gugny
How many HLs are there? Is it like Boxing, where there's 37 different world championships for each weight class. We had a UHL team in my town and it was like watching middle school intramurals. What the hell is OHL?

The Erie Otters are a Major junior ice hockey team based in Erie, Pennsylvania. They are members of the Midwest Division of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), one of only three American teams in the circuit. The "Otters" name refers to the North American otter (Lontra canadensis), a semiaquatic mammal common to Lake Erie. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erie_Otters And when you think yeah that's great, it's a bunch of minor league nobody's. Remember back when everybody in the Hockey Universe had a hardon for Conner McDavid in the NHL draft
Alaska Darin
OHL, QMJHL, and WHL are Canadian Major Junior leagues. It's where the vast majority of NHL first round draft choices come from.

And they might as well be three conferences within one bigger league. Their champions and a host team play for the memorial cup, Canadian junior hockey's Stanley cup. /dev/null
Otters have advanced to the Memorial Cup Finals. A round robin tournament of the 3 CHL league champions and a host team. The QMJHL and WHL champions have been eliminated, leaving the OHL Champion Erie Otters and host Windsor Spitfires (also of the OHL).
JMF2006
Thunder, naw, naw, naw, Thunder!!! Before relocating to Erie PA they were the Niagara Falls Thunder. They needed a new arena and our elected idiots did not feel like building one at the time. After they moved they somehow found money to build a shiney new 4 pad on some brownlands.....but thats a story for another day.
