Royale with Cheese Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 vs And why? I take the Corleone family because no one was smarter than Don Vito. Too much dysfunction in the Cicero gang. I think they were more sloppy than the Corleone's.
BringBackFergy Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 I would take the Corleone's as well. Michael was a great leader whereas Liotta got into cocaine and pills so his mind was !@#$ed up. Now if you want o have a war between Corleone's and the Soprano family...that would be interesting.

BringBackFergy Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Is it bad I never watched a single episode of the Soprano's? Yes...very bad. Go watch the first season and then come back and answer the question about the war. Tony Soprano ran a tight crew and was well respected. With the loss of Sonny, I'd say Sopranos would kick Corleone's ass but it would take a few weeks.
Rockpile233 Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 I'm taking the Corleones as well. Completely agree that the Cicero gang was sloppy. Not real professionals. As for the Sopranos...I finally watched all of them a couple years ago. It didn't live up to the decade of hype I was subject to before finally watching it, although it was a solid show.

thebandit27 Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 No question that the Corleone family wins...they were far more organized and had a more unified vision. Cicero family had too many loose cannons near the top with Henry/Jimmy/Tommy.
teef Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 how is this a question? you take the corleones every day. that family had far more influence that any of the others listed.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Corleone family= McDermott Era Cicero family= Rex Ryan Era
row_33 Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 The look Michael gives when Fredo's wife is misbehaving causes enough immediate action to show they were a tight unit.
Deranged Rhino Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 how is this a question? you take the corleones every day. that family had far more influence that any of the others listed. ...and leave the gun.
Dr. Fong Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 If it ever comes to Netflix, I'll watch. Got Amazon Prime?
teef Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 ...and leave the gun. you...!@#$ing...nailed it! my brother and i still say that line to each other.
Royale with Cheese Posted May 12, 2017 Author Posted May 12, 2017 Got Amazon Prime? I do...it's there?
Gugny Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 How could a bunch of wiseguys even compete with the Corleones? The OP oughta be whacked just for asking this question.
thebandit27 Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 My money's on these guys... Is that My Blue Heaven?
Royale with Cheese Posted May 12, 2017 Author Posted May 12, 2017 How could a bunch of wiseguys even compete with the Corleones? The OP oughta be whacked just for asking this question. Because of Jimmy Conway.
Gugny Posted May 12, 2017 Posted May 12, 2017 Because of Jimmy Conway. An Irishman??? You've got to be kidding me.
