How does this new fact explain that there hasn't been a rookie starting for a super bowl champion in 10+ years?

Wasn't Butler the NE SB hero a rookie CB playing nickle?

Thats starting if your top 3 at CB.

First time I've heard Zay interview. Smart, well-spoken young man. Picking smart young men over illiterates bodes well for building a winning "team" in the long run.

Joe Thuney started all 19 games for New England at LG last season.

Well there you go. I knew the day would eventually come when I made a mistake.

Bill Parcells used to say that for every rookie you start, you lose a game.

Except when you don't.

Strange, I don't remember him adding that caveat... Is that the Promo extension?

It's just an observation that Parcells says a lot of stuff.

Pretty cool that the kids had some previous experience playing together at the Senior Bowl.

The #1,2 and 3 picks.

Do you disagree that having to start rookies is not as good as having veterans? Or do you just not like how it might apply to the Bills this season if true?

I'm pretty sure they said during the game that Butler was the 4th CB.

Bill Parcells and Bill Polian ought to go start up a league together; leather helmets and everything.

Looks like others covered more recently so...

Ravens in 2013- Osemele started at RT, Upshaw started nine games played in all 16 and Justin Tucker was their starting kicker.

Packers in 2011-Bulaga started at RT, Zombo started eight games playing in 13, and their punter Masthay.

Should I keep going?
