jimmy10 Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Oof, I can't even imagine what I'd do in that situation. "Complete mental breakdown" comes to mind.
Best Player Available Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Sudden death, the shock, everything is very hard to rebound from. Consolences, and prayers for the family, and Chris in particular. The Bills one constant national media supporter is going too need and surely get help from his many professional friends both media and ex players.
Seasons1992 Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 We should figure out how to circle the wagons for him.
thebandit27 Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 My dad went through a similar situation when my mom--his wife of 40 years--passed suddenly in an accident at their home. It's brutal. I hope he's close with his kids, since we were probably the single biggest influence on his attitude toward the whole thing.

I hope he's close with his kids, since we were probably the single biggest influence on his attitude toward the whole thing. Wow, I'm sorry to hear about this. Best wishes. And I can't imagine what Berman is going through. There are some many awful diseases out there but something we take for granted everyday, driving, is sometimes the biggest killer. Awful news.
hondo in seattle Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Horribly sad. Condolences for the Berman family.
Guffalo Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 That is so odd, I work in Manhattan and a guy I work with came in from lunch and said "I just saw Chris Berman on 51st heading to the Park Plaza" That was around 1:45. He was saying how Berman was limping from being either overweight or bad swollen ankles, but even as he walked around him, he said he was typically loud, talking to the guy he was with.

Playoff Bound Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Berman has always been a Bills guy which makes him family. Prayers for him and his family.

Augie Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Horrible news and a terrible loss. It's never too soon to stop and smell the roses. Actively love your family every day, and take nothing for granted.
