judman Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 I thought it was beeeeeeeews I always heard it as 'beewls' My wife and I actually wrote several different spellings once during a broadcast. We'd listen and write. We agreed on 'beewls'
Dablitzkrieg Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 I enjoyed him. Him and Jerome Boger are the best...."hoedin"
Reks Ryan Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 He was average to poor. Not offensive, many of us just tired of getting the bottom of the barrel announcers. Interesting that his broadcast career coincided almost exactly with Bills drought. This link has some good Solomon references. But I linked mainly for Dirtbag's announcer awards. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/187861-ranking-the-announcers/
BobbyC81 Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 He always thought Chris Kelsay was good, it was baffling. So, he had Ralph's ear and that's why they kept overpaying Kelsay?
Bill from NYC Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Call me crazy but I never minded the guy. He seemed to bring a reasonably objective perspective most weeks.Agreed. I never had any issues with him and he did know his football.
