TheLynchTrain Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Surprised this has not been posted, with him being a TBD whipping boy at all (if it was, sorry in advance). We won't have to hear about hearing about the "beeeeeels" on Sundays anymore. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/05/09/solomon-wilcots-out-at-cbs-after-16-years/
GG Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 "Solomon Wilcots out at CBS after 16 years" ... coincidence? I think not.
zow2 Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 His 16 year run kind of coincides with the Bills playoff drought. So here's another sign we're busting out of it. Lol.
Juice_32 Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Call me crazy but I never minded the guy. He seemed to bring a reasonably objective perspective most weeks.
teef Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 was he really a whipping boy on here? i always thought he was solid.
Malazan Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 was he really a whipping boy on here? i always thought he was solid. No, he wasn't. I don't remember him being talked about much at all.
KollegeStudnet Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 His 16 year run kind of coincides with the Bills playoff drought. So here's another sign we're busting out of it. Lol. He called a lot of Beels games. Maybe.
Blokestradamus Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 What's people's issue with him? Honestly, his worst trait was being paired with Spero Dedes, the insufferable !@#$ stick. Solomon seems like a lovely fella, hope he lands on his feet.
Clyde Smith Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 He was cool, it was the George Michaels looking guy next to him that was kinda annoying to me.
Bray Wyatt Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Yeah I thought he was decent once you got after the beeeels instead of bills, he didn't seem to be a hater like some announcers do for some reason
Blokestradamus Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 He was cool, it was the George Michaels looking guy next to him that was kinda annoying to me. That's it. Spero annoys me next season, I'm sending him all the Wham! he can handle on Twitter.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 He always thought Chris Kelsay was good, it was baffling.
Jauronimo Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 He always thought Chris Kelsay was good, it was baffling. He had some really strange opinions. Even though he seemed to cover the Bills quite often, he didn't seem to know much about the team.
Dorkington Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Whipping boy, nah. More like we liked to poke fun at some of his announcing, but otherwise not a bad dude.
dorquemada Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Whipping boy, nah. More like we liked to poke fun at some of his announcing, but otherwise not a bad dude. yeah, though he was somewhat worse about the captain obvious observations. "it's a bad time to throw and interception" versus the good time to throw and interception of course
dwight in philly Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Call me crazy but I never minded the guy. He seemed to bring a reasonably objective perspective most weeks. i feel the same.. never bothered me.. thought he was decent..
