Al Czervik Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 On Cinco de Mayo, they couldn't put him in a sombrero and "It starts with Juan"? I see what you did there!
KellyToughII Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 @buffalobills One team. One focus. One community. P51 Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 On Cinco de Mayo, they couldn't put him in a sombrero and "It starts with Juan"? LOL, funniest thing Ive heard all day, gracias mi amigo!!
LABILLBACKER Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 I think Russ is referencing the "one" Super Bowl we haven't won yet...how bout our playoff drought is almost an adult...
SoCal Deek Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 OMG...if that is truly the slogan, I won't be shocked if it lasts a week or two at best. Next to be fired? The Slogan-creation Team!
ddaryl Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Just typical salesman fluff means nothing at all to fans who just want a pair of teams they don't have to be embarrassed about.
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Just typical salesman fluff means nothing at all to fans who just want a pair of teams they don't have to be embarrassed about. I can't believe that in 2017 people still get paid to come with these slogans. You'd think a computer program could come with some cheesy slogan.
Seasons1992 Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 #1 pick next year? I'll take that. We potentially get a QB if Tyrod doesn't work, and we get KC's #1 as well. I don't want us to have the #1 pick, however. I want the last pick in the first round.
thunderingsquid Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Starts with one - quickly turns into a number 2
Chief Loves Bills Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 The Army, went with "Army of One" a few years ago and found out rather quickly it didn't work. Too many jokes about selfishness and singular priorities. It was described as "contrary to the idea of teamwork". Now it's "Army Strong". As an aside, if you find one that works, stick with it. "The few, The Proud, The Marines" comes to mind. The Army, went with "Army of One" a few years ago and found out rather quickly it didn't work. bisonbrigade Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 It all starts with ONE, one win fifteen losses and number ONE overall pick. LOL
Saxum Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 I was thinking "and it ends with & 15" Did you apply for front office position again?
boyst Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 hate it. run deep was fine. this is just too much. it should be 3 words at the most, rarely is 4 words ok. 'One is the loneliest number you'll ever do.' I don't like it. twins was the best number i ever did
bills.avfc Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 i actually liked "bills run deep". at least it meant something and was accurate in more ways than one. this one just doesn't make any sense to me. i think you just take it for what it is. theyve got to try and galvanise the fan base. it's basic public relations. they're clearly trying to push the team mentality though so it does no harm.
thunderingsquid Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Great. Thanks, Russ. Now don't you have a meeting to go to somewhere? Far away?
4_kidd_4 Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Did you apply for front office position again? Whoa, a "like you could do better???" take?? Hawtttttt!! Blazing, even!
