YoloinOhio Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Interesting @jasoncoleBR John Wooten of Fritz Pollard Alliance said Washington has submitted plan to #NFL to reorganize front office w/out replacing GM position ... ... vacated by firing GM Scot McCloughan. Pollard Alliance is waiting to see what the plan is.

Saxum Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 You have to submit plans for reorganization? Does not seem something you could demand of independent companies.
OhioBills Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 I know this could go either way, but I'm thinking this could be a step backwards. On the other hand, they'll attract a lot of coaches with a big ego. So there's always that. I can't see Gruden building the team as a whole every draft.
26CornerBlitz Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Bruce Allen and Lil' Danny will have them at the bottom of the league before too long.

WhoTom Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Maybe they'll jump on Whaley now that he's available. I doubt Whaley wants to work for Snyder.
BillsFan17 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Buffalo beat them to it. Well they did fire their GM first so.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 I don't care who the GM is. It's pretty obvious that McDermott is going to have his hands on everything. The GM might as well just be a cap ologist

YoloinOhio Posted May 4, 2017 Author Posted May 4, 2017 Thought that was Overdorf's job?he is allegedly gone as soon as they hire the GM... or phased out like Berchtold
H2o Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 The Redskins will return to laughability after Cousins bolts in FA next year leaving them without a QB again. he is allegedly gone as soon as they hire the GM... or phased out like Berchtold Interesting. The only link left now is that weasel Russ Brandon.
T-Bomb Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 why would the NFL have to approve that? Yeah, that doesn't sound too good...
DC Tom Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 They have to reorganize for that? Haven't they effectively been without a GM for 15 years or so?
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 I doubt Whaley wants to work for Snyder. ...hell I thought I read even Bob from Accountemps told Boy Danny, "no thanks".....
Bill_with_it Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Its one of a very few and select highly coveted football jobs. To suggest that no one wants that position is ludicrous.
Manther Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 (edited) he is allegedly gone as soon as they hire the GM... or phased out like BerchtoldAwesome! On a similar note...that would leave Russ Brandon the winner of the old adage....you don't have to out run the bear, just your friends. Well, that was a marathon dating back to last century. Good endurance RB on that long, long race! Edited May 5, 2017 by Manther
