Reuben Foster might miss 2017 season due to shoulder

Recommended Posts

John Lynch said on Mike & Mike this morning they had Garrett, Thomas and Foster as their top 3 players on the board. He said they would have taken him high if they were up there. He also downplayed the shoulder thing, but what do you expect?

I feel like he shouldn't be bragging that his #3 player fell to the high 20s.

Good to hear. No NFI for #RuebenFoster Talk of need for more surgery overblown. My immediate post draft analysis: http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/profootballdoc/sd-sp-pfd-foster-answer-shoulder-49ers-0505-story.html

This is great news!

Ruben Foster has a chance (notice I said a chance) to be the best linebacker in the NFL.

So are the media eviscerating Lynch/49ers now on how dysfunctional to draft a player with a shoulder injury in 1st round?

Probably a limited set of their local press. I doubt much nationally just like we didn't see much
