KellyToughII Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 If I owned a multi billion dollar business, I would not allow my employees to do anything that violated federal law. It is that simple folks. Or effected them on the field / during work. A little puff helps the wifey tremendously with 'Aunt Flo' cramps. Made some mild brownies for my mom while she was undergoing chemo treatments, and it relieved her neuropathy. Neither scenario involves them sitting around simply being stoned. Neither of them is the issue, it is the many that will over do it. Next it will be "but I require this much, vs everyone else" etc.
boyst Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 i like it...when you've been called out, you try to get funny to cover up the ignorance. listen, i don't have a situation. i'm a 39 yr old healthy guy who doesn't have back pain. there's a ton of issues in my work that lead to back pain, so i'm conscious of it. that's it. when someone make the comment like back pain in only psychosomatic, it's obvious you're not educated on the subject in any way, and probably should just avoid making sweeping statements so you don't look simple. the rest of what you wrote is complete nonsense to cover up that you were just put in your place. for a 50 yr old guy who's ready to retire, you sure haven't become any wiser. sit back and learn a thing or two. do you meanbefore you called me out I wasn't funny? Christ, son. When I was your age and in the internet I learned that it disnt mean a thing to be called out on the internet. Because its 99% opinion and 1% porn. Or was it the other way around? Disirregardless, you stated your opinion. Then Proclaimed because your vacuum of existence in the medical field allows you to use a handful of people as proof that you have called me out. You win the internet. I honestly don't care about winning or losing. I'm just here for the good times and kiko jerseys. wow...wowwww... learned a lot about some long time posters here that changes how I have viewed them for a long time... I am in shock of the ignorance being posted here, thats a shame... wow at least I know my barcouldnt go any lower to begin with Seriously, though, I have no problem with pot. Legalize it. Tax it like crazy. Prosecute those who abuse it. Move on with life. Medical or not there isn't a reason to keep it outlawed. But it is. And it is still dangerous. So that has to be respected You seem fun. I mean, I do need a prom date..

Cash Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 yes. I stopped after the first sentence. Read Dr sarnos' book on back pain. I've Ben advised to smoke pot. Been to drs. Have many back issues beyond scoliosis. Buuuut yoga exercise diet mentality and just being mindful of things like posture has healed it. And I'm an expert on the subject matter. I am god. I stopped reading after the first word. Good to know you agree with everything teef says. bone spurs? Isn't that the bass player in that bluesband from the 60's? Don't assume you know my situation. And I don't care to know yours. The bottom line isn't that it is a pain killer, its not. Its symptom relief. Like a lot of things. I have a craving for arbys. Maybe I'm high. You know what else is high? Gas. In my day is fine up for $5. Of course, as a soon to retire 50something year old I just can't be in touch with what these hippies want. I stopped reading after the first letter. B is a pretty good grade, but if you really applied yourself, you might be able to get an A!
gr8billsfan Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 If anything they need CBD for the REAL medicinal properties, which is non-psychoactive. THC really won't help pro athletes, except to eat...
ddaryl Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 (edited) The league has a marijuana problem, and the league knows it. At a deeper level, the NFL knows that a straight-faced excuse for persisting in the pot prohibition must be articulated in conceal the real reason for it: Collective bargaining. Marijuana has 2 compounds, THC which is what get you high, and CBD, which is the actual painkilling compound. THC can be psychologically addicting but is not physically addictive. CBDs do not get you high, and have zero addictive properties. The league should let players use CBD products for painkilling and not allow the THC products if they feel that strongly about it. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/05/02/nflpa-continues-to-focus-on-marijuana-for-therapeutic-reasons/ Nope they need to legalize it all in the NFL so players are less likely to use alcohol or any other more harmful substances as well as reducing pain killer addicition Anti pot people are a joke.. Don't even hear their non sense anymore If anything they need CBD for the REAL medicinal properties, which is non-psychoactive. THC really won't help pro athletes, except to eat... and thats another in a long list of cliche' pot makes you eat.. yet most regular MJ users are under the overall national average weight for their size Seriously, though, I have no problem with pot. So that has to be respected I mean, I do need a prom date.. No its not.. Alcohol is way more dangerous Deal with that 1st. Alcohol should be made illegal for killing people where MJ does not however if you tax it like crazy you are just keeping the black market in business and therefore less ttax revenues and more incarceration costing you tax money. You have ot admit that was a real silly thought Edited May 3, 2017 by ddaryl

If we legalize weed is everyone who drinks going to have an epithety saying I wish i smoked weed like it was an alternative?

teef Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 (edited) Wow Teef is angry today, he must've run out of bathing salts. sorry! i get very upset when it comes to holistic medicine. oddly enough, the bath salts temper me back usually. edit: i saw that leroi. you're my new favorite. boyst Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 sorry! i get very upset when it comes to holistic medicine. oddly enough, the bath salts temper me back usually. edit: i saw that leroi. you're my new favorite. marijuana is hardly holistic medicine. can i give you a whole bunch of nandina so you calm down? if not that then coleus? if not either of those just some simple hemlock tea?
Saxum Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Yep and it is really a blurry line with it leagal in so many places. Maybe they simply follow the medical rules? If you are approved for medical marijuana you get a pass? They do that for other prescriptions I believe. They need to find a way to clean it up so that they aren't faced with this situation. Then that becomes an issue in states where you cannot get a "prescription" giving states like Colorado where it is practically the state plant an advantage. It is not addictive....again, are you ok with alcohol and tobacco being legal? People die from these 2 addictive narcotics every year SInce some people will rob when cannot get weed to get high (my nephew was arrested because he could not deal with no pot until he was forced to go cold turkey) it is addictive to some. If I owned a multi billion dollar business, I would not allow my employees to do anything that violated federal law. It is that simple folks. Yet several states (and millions of Americans) do. The NFL is out of step on this one, IMO. It is not legal - it is not prosecuted by state law enforcement but it is still illegal.
without a drought Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Bills, Browns and a few other teams fans should be given marijuana for therapeutic reasons.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 ....I think it would be appropriate to offer the "therapy" to alleviate the "unparalleled suffering of Buffalo fans " for 17 years....Dr Phil and Dr Ruth will sign the petition......Dareus is on board too.......................

Kirby Jackson Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 NFLPA hopes NFL will alter marijuana policy without concessions http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/05/08/nflpa-hopes-nfl-will-alter-marijuana-policy-without-concessions/ It really is a nice "ace in the hole" for the owners. No one looks good at the moment with it. The owners can "give" on the marijuana policy while taking back something from the players.
Fan in San Diego Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Marijuana normalizes the expectation of getting high with every use. You can use alcohol without getting drunk. Or maybe pot smokers drink with the expectation of getting blotto every time they drink? Alcohol does modify your mood and reactions even with one drink. If you didn't want to modify your mood why not just drink water? That's why two drinks puts you over the BAC to drive a car. I don't drink alcohol or use marijuana anymore and I recommend that people don't use either drug. But if people just used CBD's I would be all for that. It is a pain reliever with no psycho active properties.
