billsgpr88 Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I'm well aware of his age, mileage, and injuries, but this would be a low risk pickup with a lot of upside. Perhaps there's something I'm missing, but it is confusing to me that he's received no media attention. Yes, he's had the torn acl and the knee surgeries, but when healthy he's a bona fide premier back. Might as well kick the tires
CDogg20 Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I am all for this. Always loved charles and I think he could handle the lesser work load here in Buff
YoloinOhio Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 He's visiting Denver and Vance Joseph indicated they are signing him as long as he passes a physical.
boyst Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 he was good back in the day. kc has had some good backs over the last decade. priest holmes, all of those guys. always did like them, but just like fred jackson, his time is done.
CommonCents Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Get a young back. Stop trying to UNCOOK toast. Once it's burnt it's burnt.
Jamie Nails Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Good. Let him help Denver beat KC twice next year. And us in week 3
Nick the Greek Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Trying to figure out what round this guy will go in fantasy football.. and if he's worth drafting.. 4th round steal?
Bill_with_it Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Get a young back. Stop trying to UNCOOK toast. Once it's burnt it's burnt.Couldnt have stated it better.
BillnutinHouston Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Why no mention of LeGarrett Blount? Good enough for the Giants to be interested and probably wouldn't mind playing Belichick twice a year.
Doc Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Why no mention of LeGarrett Blount? Good enough for the Giants to be interested and probably wouldn't mind playing Belichick twice a year. Still probably wants way too much.
Tenhigh Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Still probably wants way too much. still would be a nice change of pace for Shady.
Buffalo86 Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Why no mention of LeGarrett Blount? Good enough for the Giants to be interested and probably wouldn't mind playing Belichick twice a year. He'd probably just quit on us, get kicked off the team, and go back to the Pats. That's what he did with the Steelers.
jumbalaya Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Maybe we should have sign Mike G and wouldn't have this foolish thread going around. Also note that the Bills only pick up vets at the minimum vet contract rate.
