26CornerBlitz Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 @buffalobills We've signed CB Shareece Wright. More on the veteran corner: http://bufbills.co/ANiCc6
Elite Poster Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 He was awful last year. Wouldn't get too excited. Team that cut him drafted CB at pick 1 and with other picks in the draft.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I like this signing. Some vet leadership coming to a young position group.
PirateHookerMD Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 We should hope this guy never sees the field. I'd like a flyer on Byrd if we are signing re-tread defensive backs.
Elite Poster Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 So now that Whaley is fired, is the compensatory crowd no longer complaining??
Roundybout Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Interestingly, his career high day in tackles came against us last year, when he had 11.
Elite Poster Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 (edited) Just want to reiterate, he might be, or at least in the conversation for, the absolute worst corner in the league. Edited May 1, 2017 by Elite Poster
ALF Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 The cornerback who tops the list for most fantasy points allowed per snap (FP/Sn), and earns the dubious honor of being the easiest corner to pass on in the league is Shareece Wright. https://www.profootballfocus.com/best-fantasy-cb-matchups/
Blokestradamus Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 (edited) Just want to reiterate, he might be, or at least in the conversation for, the absolute worst corner in the league. But 21st in PFF's run defense category among all corners so that'll make some people happy, right? Edited May 1, 2017 by Blokestradamus
Chandler#81 Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Just want to reiterate, he might be, or at least in the conversation for, the absolute worst corner in the league. You've made your expected point. Considering there are approximately 128 CB's League wide during the season and he's played in 67 games, has made 50+ tackles per in 3 of the last 4 seasons with 15 starts, I'm guessing you're incorrect. Again.

Chicken Boo Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 (edited) Good depth. He's great in run support. Can't imagine he'd be any worse in coverage than Duke Williams. I'd move him to SS. Edited May 1, 2017 by Chicken Boo

Logic Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I feel good about the depth chart at the cornerback position.DarbyWhiteSeymourWrightJohnsonCromartie (Hyde will play nickel at times)Now if they can just go get a veteran safety, I'll feel much better about things.
ALF Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Thanks Wayne. ALF - 4 years ago come on man! Fake news is a big enough problem. How about today then Wright, 30, was oft-burned in Baltimore. May 1 - 10:15 AM http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6606/shareece-wright
Big Turk Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 He was awful last year. Wouldn't get too excited. Team that cut him drafted CB at pick 1 and with other picks in the draft. Wasn't awful against us, he single handedly won that game for them, he was all over the field

Again. Worst starting CB. He's awful. I'm sorry you don't watch more than just the Bills. He was Duke Williams bad in coverage last year and to add his one career INT, nothing to get too excited over.
