We will probably start on the beers pretty early. Are beers allowed in church in Dallas? Sorry for the questions, but I've never been to Dallas (or church for that matter.)

I doubt there's any beers in church here in the Dallas Fort Worth Texas area. The closest would be having wine at communion.

Speaking of beer...a heads up...better buy it on Saturday before 9 PM. Beer can't be sold until noon on Sunday. I believe when the Bills were here last some didn't buy beer on Saturday and had none for their tailgate then those that did ran out and couldn't buy more.

You should probably rent a Prius so you don't look like an out of towner.

Uber.

Thank you! Actually happened to me many moons ago in Buffalo! That sucked!

What about bars near and in the stadium, can they serve alcohol before noon?

Rick's Chophouse in Mckinney has some great steaks. You're in Texas, get a good steak and some good Mexican food. Just remember if you or your friends like to get rowdy, roughly every third person you see is concealed carrying a gun, so be polite.

Thank you! Definitely will find a steakhouse! We will have fun, but also be respectful, so no worries there.

If you have time to check out the city, Dealey Plaza is fascinating.

If you have time, go to 6th floor museum. the weather should be nice. Could still get hot, but not summer hot. (I was born in Dallas and lived there 40+ years)

Also, go to Sonny Bryan's on Inwood.

Any El Fenix, or better yet, go to any hole in the wall Mexican place.

It's a redneck state, so weed is illegal.

Have fun!

Thanks! Yes steakhouse, BBQ and mexican will be part of the plan for sure. By the sounds of it, all we will be doing is eating, drinking and watching football. Sounds good to me.

Won't be partaking in the weed....

I've never been to Bob's but it's a good recommendation. It's a place you'd go if you were splurging. Texas Roadhouse is a favorite of mine.

El Fenix is also a good recommendation. Also there's Joe T Garcia's there in Fort Worth Texas. Many celebrities have dined there.

Yep...can be stressful...going to see the Bills play in San Diego my original flight was seriously delayed...to get to a better flight I had to switch terminals..had never done it and was petrified I get outside of security and couldn't get back in because I had no boarding pass for the better flight.

It's the worst laid out airport I've ever flown through.

But, more importantly, how are the bars? We flew out of Atlanta last month and had time for a little breakfast in the Delta Sky Club. I get that when something is free you want to make the most of it, but I was surprised to see how many people were at the bar with mimosa's and Bloody Mary's before 8:00am. Some even seemed hunkered down with some scotch in front of them. I'm no prude, and I get all different time zones, but that took even me by surprise. Airports are like casinos that way - time matters not.
