Buffalo Bills

Day 1 grade: A

Day 2 grade: A

Day 3 grade: A

Overall grade: A

ESPN also rated us the best, according to a user on reddit, but he did not link the article.

Yay!!!!!! We win the off-season! [Ok, just kidding, but I am beginning to like this new Bills team.]

Peterman will end up being our starter at QB which pushes this draft up even higher.

But apparently we are firing the people who put this draft together

But keeping the guy who was smart enough to make these picks.

What more could we as fans want or expect?

They filled every need got 3 day one starters minimum and pocketed a 1st for 2018.

This is/was a grand slam dunk:)

2x off-season champions baby!

The difference is we have a real coach now, not some slobbering jowled blow hard.

Doug is good at bringing some good starters as FAs . I don't want him fired fwiw

I am in this camp as well. We obviously don't know everything that has gone on behind the scenes,, but I do believe he has done a great job evaluating FA's and finding contributions hidden on other teams depth charts.

Pretty much.

I really thought that McDermott was running the show, but those trade ups in the 2nd round implied Whaley was still somewhat in control. I can't imagine na first year headcoach would be making trades like that. he would just stay put and draft who falls to him. That is just an assumption on my part, but I just find it hard to see a first year head coach making those trades in the 2nd round. Those trades screamed Whaley as well

So you think it could never occur to a first year coach" to make moves in the draft? It would have to have been suggested to him by a GM? Or the GM just grabbed the phone from him ("here, GIVE ME THAT!").

That makes little sense.

Seems like everyone in the shout box say we sucked in the draft. Of course they are the best in knowing how it should of went down.

Only time will tell if Mahomes was worth the #10 pick or Watson at #12

Depends, do we get a top QB next year? If he ends up having a better career than Mahomes or Watson we still have a better grade in my opinion.

It's been pretty clear that McDermott was running this draft for a while even prior.

If it turns out a bust, we maybe told to blame Whaley but it's McDermott's for good or ill.

Draft grades are about as important as mock drafts. See how close these experts came with their predictions. It is all just entertainment for us fans to feed off. We are desperate for football entertainment, so we feast off this crap so we don't have to watch the Real Housewives of Atlanta with our wives.
