Figster Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Milano is going to a safety LB hybrid My thoughts also, MCDermott wants some big bodies roaming the secondary
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 MCDermott wants some big bodies roaming the secondary I hope so. I also hope they are not too slow or don't have the instinct for the secondary. It would be nice to see our D round back into 2014 pre-Rex form. !@#$in Rex really did a number on us.
artmalibu Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 If they put 10-15 pounds of muscle on these guys will the still be under sized?
John from Riverside Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 We just drafted two undersized LB's. Kind of strange? Are they going to convert to safety or does McD want to play small. Bills (From Patriots through Broncos) Milano, Matt LB 6'0" 223 Boston College 5.3 Bills Vallejo, Tanner LB 6'1" 228 Boise St. 5.1 Dion Jones?
KellyToughII Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Who cares. They hit very hard and dont miss tackles. Perfect WLB prospects Exactly
3rdand12 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Who cares. They hit very hard and dont miss tackles. Perfect WLB prospects I love this post
slaphappy Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Two words that make me cringe at draft time.. "tweener" and "undersized". Probably because the Bills used to make those picks earlier in the draft when they thought they were outsmarting everyone.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 If they put 10-15 pounds of muscle on these guys will the still be under sized? not if they put on 15 lbs and keep the speed, but that may be a year away.
KollegeStudnet Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 They snagged Vallejo before the Panthers. Remember reading somewhere that Vallejo was scouted by the Panthers.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 We just drafted two undersized LB's. Kind of strange? Are they going to convert to safety or does McD want to play small. Bills (From Patriots through Broncos) Milano, Matt LB 6'0" 223 Boston College 5.3 Bills Vallejo, Tanner LB 6'1" 228 Boise St. 5.1 Haven't you read anything about McDs defense?? We need athletic LBs that can cover in zone. Milano has played and may transition to safety, according to McD. Sweet we could use a safety with some size.
BuffaloFan68 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Can we switch Logan Thomas over to LB to cover Gronk. Lol Go Buffalo!
jeffismagic Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 These linebackers are better fits in a Tampa 2. Maybe Frazier will run it...
Mike in Syracuse Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 It's almost as if people don't realize we play Brady twice a year and the league is running 3,4 and 5 WR sets routinely.
Saxum Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 mcd cares about two things: character and cuteness. At least he does not prefer dirtbags and there are a lot of them in college. They snagged Vallejo before the Panthers. Remember reading somewhere that Vallejo was scouted by the Panthers. He was only LB who visited the Panthers and Panthers told his agent there were planning on drafting him.
John from Riverside Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Dion Jones....6'2 220 pounds What is so hard to understand about these picks?
dave mcbride Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 ST is important. Carolina arguably lost the SB because of a badly blown tackle on ST.
CEN-CAL17 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Thomas Davis was a Safety size LB his rookie year. A Safety out of Georgia... In a few years these guys may be playing at 230-235 lbs. Kiko is 230-235.... So many arm chair QBs here
JoeF Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 We have three bigger slower guys in Lorax, Ragland and Brown. We desperately need a coverage LB. Yes. Bills need the underneath coverage LBs who can tackle and not be overwhelmed by the occasional run or screen when in the nickel. Plus these are both core special teams players.
Rjmarkin Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Thomas Davis was 230 when he entered the nfl....
