Bum.

The guy Is awful. At UT he looked like a steaming pile of ****.

Taking this clown over Kelly is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen.

SO he played on a 5-7 team with players recruited by the coach that got canned, and the promptly went to Pitt and flourished and HE is a bum?

BS. You don't have that much of a stark contrast in stats AND he passes for 5 TDs in Death Valley to beat the National Champion Clemson Tigers unless he was under some pretty crappy conditions at UT.

Guessing him and CJ will be competing for backup QB this year and potentially starter next year.

This ruined all the Chad Kelly fans hopes, but you got UDFA too.

Dont feel like his arm is strong enough to throw in the Buffalo wind.

Backup? They will compete for #3. Yates is the backup.

Mayock said the guy is a top 5 pick if he had a clean record.

He said no such thing. He said Kelly was a "top 5 QB' if not for his off-field issues, not a top 5 pick. Meaning that Mayock would've had him in the top 5 of his QBs this year. Huge difference.

FACT:

He wore #12 at Tennessee... Tom Brady wears that same number now.

FACT:

He wore #4 at Pitt... Tom Brady has 4 Super Bowl MVPʻs.

Perhaps we just found our new Tom Brady

He has a stronger arm than Watson, the 12th pick and is more accurate. He outplayed Watson this year when Pitt beat Clemson.

No he doesn't. The combine mph is really not a good indicator. Glennon threw 49 and he has a very decent arm. Peterman has a rag arm. Watson isn't a cannon but he can hurl it well enough.

if you dont have one ALWAYS DRAFT a QB at some point...... Check

This pick does nothing to 2018 draft QB

Except that he might one day back that guy up. Exactly.

Folks there is a reason this kid went in the fifth.

That being said, you can't complain we don't take a QB ever, and we do that it's not the guy you want so it's not good.

We drafted Listenbee and he STILL hasn't seen the field... so... it could be worse!

Can he throw in the Ralph?

Question isn't about arm strength, but about grip strength.

Dude gets inaccurate when the ball's wet. Case in point: the Miami game. He can't hit a sideline throw to save his life (or win the game)

His NFL comparison is Kirk Cousins which is not bad. Arm strength isn't the end all be all. Plenty of good QBs have gotten by with average arms.
