dayman Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 ESPN guys absolutely love Peterman...they are gushing you would think Peterman is the greatest QB in the whole draft.
ROCBillsBeliever Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 fwiw, Peterman was the top rated prospect remaining. I liken him to Kevin Hogan, from Stanford, a few years back; hopefully he doesn't flame out, as Hogan did. This late in the 5th, he is a developmental pick and a complete steal! Â Also of note, the ONLY QB to beat Clemson last year... watch that tape. He was efficient!
Augie Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 They are saying on WGR he can throw in the wind - very different than C. Jones. NFLN called them "polar opposites"
Numark3 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Bum. Â The guy Is awful. At UT he looked like a steaming pile of ****. Â Taking this clown over Kelly is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Â Â you should have just went like this: Â Â sdklh4893tyvnn y84 7tre ydsf HR8w rsaa rr a7 st f fd7sfd@& $
stevestojan Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Bum. Â The guy Is awful. At UT he looked like a steaming pile of ****. Â Taking this clown over Kelly is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Of for !@#$ sake, if Jim wasn't his uncle, would ANYONE want chad?
boyst Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I take him over cardale any day. But still, not sure we needed this. Here's to hoping for the best
Domdab99 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Seriously, I'd rather pick up An UDFA or Kelly in the 6th
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 this might help keep everyone happy ....seriously?....here?.....c'mon Fig , you're sacrificing your astuteness......get to your foxhole quickly as the Negative Nellies are coming...................
YoloinOhio Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 Looks like no Chad Kelly.the best part about this pick is we don't need to hear Walt from Cheektowaga call into WGR every day asking about Chad Kelly....
LabattBlue Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Can he throw in the Ralph? All stadiums(except domes) can be windy. I always thought this was overstated.
HappyDays Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Amazing pick!!! I am extremely happy and thought he would be gone by the beginning of the 3rd. We needed a backup QB in the worst way.
filthymcnasty08 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 His strengths read like Tyrod's weaknesses: Â Â STRENGTHS Smooth, quick set-up in pocket. Grips the ball with big, 10-inch hands. Poised in pocket and takes the hit to deliver a completion. Will set-up, slide and then re-set before making his throw. Can cut it loose from off-balance angles from bootleg or play-action if he sees a winning option break open early. Full field reader. Works all the way through his progressions. Shoots glances at safeties to keep them in check. Strong natural accuracy. Able to throw receivers open and lead them away from danger. Can pinpoint passes to moving targets in his intermediate work. Has enough arm to work field side, intermediate throws. Great vision. Sees passing windows before they develop. Throws with outstanding timing and anticipation. Can put the ball on receivers' hands as soon as they come out of a break if coverage dictates it. Utilizes accuracy and anticipation to challenge windows on all three levels. Won at Clemson hanging five touchdown passes on their talented stop unit. Good escapability and can extend drives with his legs. Excellent deep ball accuracy completing 46.2 percent of his deep throws.
YoloinOhio Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 NFLN called them "polar opposites"that is accurate
transplantbillsfan Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 How long until we see the arguments that Peterman is going to become the Bills starter at some point before the end of the season?
Ittakestime Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Worth a shot. Have to be in the lottery to win. Who knows what he will develop to. 5th rounders lately have been junk anyways. Give me the guy that may change the organization forever.
