BuffAlone Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 (edited) I don't think he's got the same change of direction skills to be exactly that but I like his potential as a WLB. I think there's every chance that he makes the 53 for ST duties alone. Stick him in a competition with Humber, Preston (maybe) and Vallejo and see who shines. Is he our SS? I see him as our hybrid/box guy.Probably not right away, but he has a chance to in year 2-3 Edited April 30, 2017 by BuffAlone
#34fan Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Based on the vid, the kid knows how to tackle. Hit low, wraps up for the most part and drives through his target. SS who can be on the field as a cover OLB. AND Diagnose... Lots of reasons for hope here...
FLFan Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 AND Diagnose... Lots of reasons for hope here... Agree. This is an intriguing pick. Always a crapshoot this late in the draft, but he has a chance to develop into a really useful player.
Augie Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Hmm; one of my favorite cookies! Oh, that's a weak spot for me.....
4merper4mer Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Late round so no biggie but looks like that dude John Papagiorgio we had that had that interception against Dallas in that Monday nighter. 3 or 4 good plays in an otherwise short and bad career.
outsidethebox Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Love his ST play.A heat seeking missile is right!!!
atlbillsfan1975 Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 @christrapasso Matt Milano's two closest athleticism comparisons on @mockdraftable: Lawrence Timmons and Deion Jones. He's an impressive athlete. Gosh we can dream!
BringBackFergy Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 @pff_Billy #Bills 5th Rd pick LB Matt Milano missed just 2 tackles on 33 tackle attempts in run D in 2016, 14th best rate out of 159 draft eligible LBs This is a great stat. Considering some of the piss poor tackling we've seen over the last two years (Gilmore...ahem) at least this kid wraps up.
Paul Costa Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 They are going to use him in a big nickel package as a third safety I think. Match him up one on one with a TE against 12 personal. Very possible he makes the 53.
CaliBills92 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 And UrlacherUrlacher was 6-4 258lbs at the combine. So I fail to see the comparison between him and Milano who is 6ft 221lbs.

John from Riverside Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Just wanna see them play before saying one way or the other They might be perfect scheme fits
Dragonborn10 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Too small to play LB in the NFL. Why not just draft a real safety?
John from Riverside Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Too small to play LB in the NFL. Why not just draft a real safety? because guys like Dion Jones are thriving in certain roles?
WhoTom Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 DiGreggorio It's not delivery, it's DiGiorgio. DiGregorio (AKA "Ernie D") played for the Buffalo Braves in the 70s.
C.Biscuit97 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 For some reason, he reminds me of a smaller Kiko. If he can run free, he will make plays. If he gets run at to his side, you will be gashed.
