Haslett_Stomp Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 If my memory serves me correctly, they said similar things about Teddy Bruschi when the Patsies drafted him.
MAJBobby Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 If my memory serves me correctly, they said similar things about Teddy Bruschi when the Patsies drafted him. And Urlacher
YoloinOhio Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 @chrisbrownbills For #Bills fans, you'll be happy to know that LB Matt Milano had a pre-draft visit with the Patriots.
JerseyBills Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Starting to see a trend in our picks, guys with zero off the field issues, that love being on the field, which is a great environment to create and the opposite of the environment Rex had with alot of questionable characters and lack of discipline and accountability. Â The kids mentality is compared to Cushing? Sign me up, even if he's undersized, I know he's competing on every down and they say he attacks like a heat seeking missle!! Definitely going to be fun to watch in pre season
Blokestradamus Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Perhaps my favourite pick of the weekend. I'm a sucker for the way he plays the game.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 ...I thought the Reddick kid was Kiko smallish, but the collegiate ball gurus here said his size was a good fit for the defense McCoach will run....Milano is close in stature................
YoloinOhio Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Perhaps my favourite pick of the weekend. I'm a sucker for the way he plays the game.think he could fit that Shaq Thompson role or is that a pipe dream?
Blokestradamus Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 think he could fit that Shaq Thompson role or is that a pipe dream? Â I don't think he's got the same change of direction skills to be exactly that but I like his potential as a WLB. Â I think there's every chance that he makes the 53 for ST duties alone. Stick him in a competition with Humber, Preston (maybe) and Vallejo and see who shines.
That's No Moon Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 I think he's a box safety. is that like a chastity belt?
CEN-CAL17 Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 In the box Safety, Nickel LBer whatever you want to call it. Â Kid looks solid to me and I hope he busts his a$$ and proves the haters wrong!!! Â I'm sure we could find haters against Kyle Williams being our 5th rd pick. I you can do is wait and see.
That's No Moon Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 think he could fit that Shaq Thompson role or is that a pipe dream? nickel LB that McDermott would like to bring up the A gap. In the meantime ST demon.
TallskiWallski83 Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 To folks complaining about the highlight video making him look terrible, watch this one: Dude looks like a complete beast of a tackler and he seems very quick.
YoloinOhio Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 @pff_billy #Bills 5th Rd pick LB Matt Milano missed just 2 tackles on 33 tackle attempts in run D in 2016, 14th best rate out of 159 draft eligible LBs In fact, Milano missed just 10 tackles over 1,662 defensive snaps from 2014-2016
Billsfansinceday1 Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 The kid likes to hit. Love the acquisition.
wppete Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Yea I see him filling the same role as Shaq Thompson in Carolina. Excited to see him on the field in preseason. Feel good about this pick.
Bills Fan of St Augustine Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Based on the vid, the kid knows how to tackle. Hit low, wraps up for the most part and drives through his target. SS who can be on the field as a cover OLB.
