LEBills Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Kelly will at least make the practice squad if not roster. He may be IR'd if he doesn't recover from his surgeries in time. Sucks, was hoping the Bills would give him a chance.
Nitro Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 The 3 month process is over. Now to UDFA signings, minicamps and then training camp!
BillsFanForever19 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I remember they talked to Bryan Cox Jr. at one point in the process. I wonder if his father will be cool with him signing here as a UDFA.
YoloinOhio Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) Wonder if Elway did it as a favor to Jim. Hmmmi thought of that Edited April 29, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Augie Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Wonder if Elway did it as a favor to Jim. Hmmm I did NOT think of that.
Solomon Grundy Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Called it. Chad Kelly Mr Irrelevant ha ha ha ha ha Let's just hope he doesn't turn into the next Tom Brady who wasn't very relevant either
Doc Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Wonder if Elway did it as a favor to Jim. Hmmm Sounds like he did.
Kelly the Dog Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Sounds like he did. One of my all time favorite sports stories is Bobby Knight had a player on Indiana U named Landon Turner who was a good player but not great. The Celtics were his favorite team. After the season was over Turner got in a car accident and was paralyzed. I think for life. Bobby Knight, without telling anyone, called up Red Auerbach of the Celtics and convinced him to draft Landon Turner, which he did with the Celts last pick in the draft that year. Just a great thing that Knight and Auerbach did for the kid.

Augie Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 I was wondering where the happy ending was coming from! Nice gesture, indeed.
Doc Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Since Chad had talked about it being a dream to play for the Bills, I can't imagine that Jim did this without his consent. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Chad got pissed when the Bills drafted Peterman, told Jim that he wouldn't sign with them as an UDFA, and asked him to get him drafted, even if it was the last pick.
