Simon Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Dion Dawkins on his positional versatility at the combine: "It's basically getting two boxes of pizza for the price of one. It's a blessing" So you're saying he has an eating problem?
SCD Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Doug and scouts may not have been needed today, seems like coach McD just used Carolina's scouts.. HA, HA!
BuffaloBillsGospel Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I for one like this draft, he seems like one of those guys you can plug and play right away, I didn't even think of the OT conversion, solid pickup but if Whaley is wrong that means he would have 2 2nd round RT busts in Kouandjio and Dawkins, I hope not because I like this Dawkins kid alot.
major Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 This convinces me Whaley isn't pulling the strings- this draft makes sense- great job bills!
Comebackkid Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 BOTTOM LINE Quality tackle who operates with good balance and solid technique. Shows some good initial quickness and a smooth kick-slide out of his stance, but might be better in short areas as a guard rather than in open space as a tackle. He's athletic enough to operate in space, but power appears to be his calling card. His wide-hand approach in pass protection could be a difficult habit to break, but he has the natural power to withstand bull rush that might come with that. Dawkins is a well-schooled, three-year starter who has chance to transition into an early starter. i imagine this is why some are saying hes a guard, not a tackle..
Buffalo_Stampede Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Honestly how can you not love the bills maneuvering I missed both picks tonight, so me.
Hurricane Marv Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 carolina board pissed at mcdermot and the bills for doing this again to them. supposedly they wanted the ECU WR, as well. in a big way. It's pretty hilarious but man, couldn't the team that we're screwing over at least be in the conference? I kind of like Carolina.
Clyde Smith Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 So you're saying he has an eating problem? No, read it again. Don't know if you're serious or being sarcastic lol.

Only reason people call him a OG is he lacks Ideal HT for OT. But his long arms mean more
Jerry Jabber Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Building a solid O-line, holy schitt, we finally have someone who knows what they're doing!!
Coach Tuesday Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 The bills jumped the panthers again, per panthers forum it seems we have many needs: they say... " Sean is screwing us lol" " "son of a B word mcdermott' " McDermott has a rat in the building" " Bills trying steal a player from the Panthers by jumping ahead.. do we have snitches still in Panther land feeding McDermontt??..hmmm I kid or do I?" seriously, funny we keep jumping carolina. and atlanta helped us. No but for real - if Whaley gets canned next week and McD brings over a few Carolina guys, the dots are gonna get connected fast...
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 So the Bills came in, managed to draft 3 starters in the first 2 rounds, and got a 1st for next year. I'm finding it really hard to hate that. Good call!!
Buffalo_Stampede Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 This convinces me Whaley isn't pulling the strings- this draft makes sense- great job bills!Whaley has no say. Whaley goes for the bigger name prospects from big schools. Bills draft 2 small school players in the 2nd round.
Simon Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 No, read it again. Don't know if you're serious or being sarcastic lol. Just having a bit 'o' fun ; - )
Juice_32 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) The most interesting thing about this pick to me is that McD apparently thinks more of our LBs than we all do. Honestly Mills was probably our worst starter last year. An upgrade was needed. Edited April 29, 2017 by Juice_32
John from Riverside Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 So you're saying he has an eating problem? That man hasnt seen a pizza he doesnt like lol
TC in St. Louis Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Seems like a good player. Again, we gave up a lot to get at him, so they must love the guy.
