YoloinOhio Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I think he's already better than Hogan will ever be and I don't think his game is similar at all.better than Hogan? Dear lord I hope so...
CaliBills92 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 well...what were the pros? Good hands. Good kid from a football family.
DirtDart Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I love how excited everyone is. Good pick, bad team. Still a lot of holes to fill. Terrible he doesn't have a QB to throw him the ball.
Just in Atlanta Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) No one is !@#$ing crazier than Rob Woods. Â Is he #$#@%@% crazier? Edited April 29, 2017 by Just in Atlanta
bobobonators Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 "Jones broke the FBS single-season receptions record (158) as a senior, dropping just 6-of-164 catchable targets. While Jones lived on bubble screens and quick hitters and averaged only 10.7 yards per catch, he showed elite athleticism with a 94th-percentile SPARQ score and 4.45 speed at the Combine. Albeit not quite as big, Jones profiles similarly to Eagles WR Jordan Matthews as a slot-Z chain mover with more reliable hands." Â 6 drops out of 164 targets. Wow talk about hands.
Webster Guy Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Lots of good WR left. Why give up that extra 3rd? What a dummy You clearly don't think Zay is worth the move up, but nobody will know for a long time until the games are played. But for me, I think this kid and Corey Davis will be the only two elite receivers to come from this draft. Â He is perfectly built for the job, tall but strong, durable, serious blocker, great hands, good character. Got a big catch radius and can get separation. Â Love this pick.
Big C Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 No one is !@#$ing crazier than Rob Woods. Â Â Only Cyrus Kouandjio.
major Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Did y'all see the OJ shirt this guy was wearing tonight??? Classic!!!
biggerdaddynj Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 4th, behind Williams, Davis and RossYou are indeed correct (I myself misspoke, shame on me), though I know I never wanted Ross as our pick at WR because we wanted more size (to realize Buddy's dream of having a WR "who was open even when he was covered") not a smaller, injury risk WR with track star speed (because everyone knows size matters, right ladies )--and I know Ross is much more than a track guy who happens to play football, he's a guy Al Davis would take with a top five pick over a franchise QB or bookend LT.I don't think he lacks vertical push. It just wasn't a part of his college offense. That was Mayock's point--he essentially said Zay used the draft process (Senior Bowl, Combine, etc.) to show he was more than originally viewed--said he and Reddick were the two who made most of draft process.
Bookie Man Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Loved the video of him when he finds out he's drafted. You can see the emotion in his face. Gave me chills. Welcome!!!
Domdab99 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Lol at comparing him to Hogan. He's a 2nd round pick - he better be better than Hogan! Hell, he better be better than Robert Woods.
4merper4mer Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Player comparison: Jeremy Maclin   Please be right
QuoteTheRaven83 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Would rather have stayed and drafted Cooper Kupp
John from Riverside Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I love how excited everyone is. Good pick, bad team. Still a lot of holes to fill. Terrible he doesn't have a QB to throw him the ball. Stop trying to turn every fuking thread into a qb thread
Zulu Cthulhu Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I'm really trying to like this pick. You should. Can't argue with the production or the pedigree. Centainly a need pick but could've (and probably should've) gone in the late 1st.
