Bangarang Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Again, why are you guys assuming that the guys we've picked will all be impact starters? Why are you assuming the guys we could have drafted in the later rounds would be contributors?
MAJBobby Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 What picks do we have left? I can't keep up. Is the 4th gone? Do we still have a 3rd? Two 5ths and a 6th right now
BillsFan4 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 What picks do we have left? I can't keep up. Is the 4th gone? Do we still have a 3rd? I guess we never had that 4th. It was reported wrong. We have two 5ths and one 6th left.
Gunsgoodtime Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Why on earth would you assume the guys we picked will all be "solid starters"? I remember both you guys from bbmb, and one with a great love of Taylor...hey I actually like Taylor too, but enough is enough, just like the haters always say something negative about him it gets old. Having said that both always have decent points, and imo we addressed 2 needs and 1 upgrade. We got 3 picks left, and 2 better go to s and lb
jrober38 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I think they are. Plus it could be Whaley is done as GM on Sunday. That's the best news of the day. Fair enough. I've been excited about too many Bills draft picks only to watch them fall flat to assume they'll all work out. If all 3 guys become solid starters this will be a good draft, I'm just not even close to ready to assume that'll be the case.
PolishDave Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Can't make it obvious. Seems like a bad business decision then to piss away $15.5 in guaranteed money. This franchise isn't as profitable as others. $15 mill is a lot of dough.
jrober38 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 What picks do we have left? I can't keep up. Is the 4th gone? Do we still have a 3rd? We have two late 5ths and a 6th.
Augie Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Can't make it obvious. Why not? Plausible financial excuse to lessen the blow.

Draft guys with upside regardless of position.
#34fan Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 This team is doing everything it can to end up in San Diego.
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I know, the Bills success proves otherwise. say, how often do you suppose you'll be reminding those here on your takes of fail? until your wrong? that may be sooner than even you, may think. party on garth remember, it's the strain, not the kool aide, Bud
I'mBuff Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Exactly. People can talk about the holes we have, but has anyone actually looked at our depth? We're barely one deep at a couple spots on the depth chart, let alone deep enough to overcome a couple injuries. Beyond our starters we have nothing at RB, WR, TE, OL, DT, DE, LB, CB and S. The Bills needed to load up on young players and look long term and they've done the exact opposite. And how does loading up with late round talent that won't make the team improve the situation?
Augie Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 So maybe a ST guy, and an extra first next year. I never loved the last day anyway, but pray for the best.
thebug Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Kelly next. Weren't you complaining about wasting picks?
YoloinOhio Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 @4tommartin McDermott characterizes decisions to trade: If our player was there, we were going to do something. We werent going to sit."

Nitro Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Why on earth would you assume the guys we picked will all be "solid starters"? No, they drafted guys to be back ups. Geez.
likei've Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 It's obvious to me the players we got the Bills were very high on. That makes me feel pretty good. They didn't settle and we get to watch another team next year. I know I'm going to pay attention to the Chiefs as much as the Bills,
Buffalo Barbarian Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Seems like a bad business decision then to piss away $15.5 in guaranteed money. This franchise isn't as profitable as others. $15 mill is a lot of dough. We just dumped two head coaches with 3 years on their contracts, they aren't worried about money. Also tt took a pay cut.
Hurricane Marv Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Why are you assuming the guys we could have drafted in the later rounds would be contributors? because that's his schtick. jrober gonna jrober.
