BuffaloBud420 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Stopped paying attention to your opinion when you said Mills was fine... lol (j/k) Keep drinking the Kool Aid
PolishDave Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Tanking Nope. Would have cut Tyrod if tanking.
teef Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I guess i am miserable person, but only when I'm talking about my Bills. Guess I dont like losing and have been right a lot i think we all know you haven't been right a lot.
MAJBobby Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Might not be done for the night. #Bills HC Sean McDermott: I don't think anyone upstairs is packing up an leaving for the night.
YoloinOhio Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 THAT is an amazing stat!i think McD will get some good UDFAs. Good chance to make the team - that's what they want the most.
BuffaloBud420 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 i think we all know you haven't been right a lot. I know, the Bills success proves otherwise.
jrober38 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) we agree a lot, but I'm not too upset losing lower end picks. This roster McDermott is shaping could not have been done in one offseason. We got three solid starters. Why on earth would you assume the guys we picked will all be "solid starters"? Edited April 29, 2017 by jrober38
QCity Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 It's a lot easier to draft starters when you have glaring holes in your lineup. I couldn't envision any possible draft scenario where we didn't get starters at CB and WR. Hope this kid works out, but this feels like a bit of a reach.
BillsFan4 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 They will sign a whole bunch of guys after the draft. That is what UDFA's are for. Adam Schefter ✔@AdamSchefter Hope for underdogs: There are more undrafted free agents on NFL rosters today (481) than 1st- and 2nd-round picks combined (480), per Elias. 10:38 AM - 5 Sep 2016 Interesting. I remember McDermott said that the Bills will sign a large number of UDFA's. That it will be something they put some emphasis on. I'm not sure they have a whole lot of choice, anyway. We have a lot of roster spots left to fill.
Bangarang Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) I don't need the instant gratification of a contribution this year. The Bills have holes all over the depth chart and their depth is non-existent at pretty much every position on the field. The Bills should be planning for the future, but they've acted like a team who thinks they're a couple pieces away. Like I said, we have nothing in reserve at RB, WR, TE, OL, DE, DT, LB and DB. An NFL roster is more than the 22 starters. Impact starters taken in the top 2 rounds have a greater value than fringe roster guys taken in the later rounds. You were probably never going to be satisfied with our depth after the draft regardless of what we did given how many holes you think we have. Edited April 29, 2017 by Bangarang
Buffalo Barbarian Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I think that might be the unintended consequence of tonight's draft strategy. I would say it is intended considering we got a first next year. I think the the guys we got are solid but we could have gotten just as good of players without trading up and had more picks.
BillsFan4 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Keep drinking the Kool Aid Because I think Mills sucks? Um. Ok.
YoloinOhio Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 @yardsperpass Just a random observation but it seems like all of the Bills picks have been very highly thought of by @PFF stats
teef Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I know, the Bills success proves otherwise. because the bills have been bad, that means you were right?
jrober38 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Impact starters taken in the top 2 rounds have a greater value than fringe roster guys taken in the later rounds. You were probably never going to be satisfied with our depth after the draft regardless of what we did given how many holes you think we have. Again, why are you guys assuming that the guys we've picked will all be impact starters?
BuffaloBud420 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) Gonna be a rough year, guys...could be good though if we get our QB next year. Im tucking myself in early. Like the Bills. Edited April 29, 2017 by BuffaloBud420
JM2009 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Why on earth would you assume the guys we picked will all be "solid starters"? I think they are. Plus it could be Whaley is done as GM on Sunday. That's the best news of the day.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Nope. Would have cut Tyrod if tanking. Can't make it obvious.
BillsFan4 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I know, the Bills success proves otherwise.WTF does the Bills success or lack there of have to do wi people thinking your opinion on players is wrong? Absolutely nothing.
Augie Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 What picks do we have left? I can't keep up. Is the 4th gone? Do we still have a 3rd?
