Talk about a high powered diversion strategy.  After all, he's the 7th ranked prospect on their BOARD.    Can you imagine who'll they'll send to see the guys rated higher?

...EXACTLY what it is.....beer is cold and cheap as well as the popcorn....sneaky SOB's..................

I hear it’s pretty nippy in WNY these days! What a great time to go scout in FL!

My college used to send a contingent of staff down to Florida to do alumni fund raising every winter. You know, between tee times. :)

I give them credit for being smart here.

I can't wait for the combine/interview process for these guys.  The wonderlic is definitely something that should be looked at for a guy like Allen who wasn't a top prospect coming out of high school.  He shows great competitive spirit but that's something that can really help or hurt him.  We should be looking for a guy with a high wonderlic score, no doubt.

Yeah like a guy from Harvard with the highest Wonderlic score ever. Fitzmagic. LOL

It certainly helps.  You don't want a guy with a low wonderlic score.  Not every high score is going to turn out to be great but not many low scores turn out great.  It's another measure to look at in the scouting process.  Make fun of it all you want but it's somthing to look at if you are really scouting a QB

That’s what I’d like to know

Falk, who was spotted wearing a cast over his left wrist and hand this week, warmed up in uniform before Thursday's game but appeared limited. He has completed 66.9 percent of his throws (357-for-534) for 3,593 yards, 30 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

I agree we don't want a dummy in at QB or a guy who thinks his physical talents are all he needs. Nobody wants a Jamarcus Russell. I don't know how a wonderlic score actually translates into anything beyond normal intelligence. I want a guy with football intelligence that can read a defense and adjust to what's in front of him and know where his players are gonna be and who according to the defense will be open. I know that it takes time to adjust to the pro game and nobody comes out with all of those abilities. Plus defenses have become better at cloaking their plays now. I can dream can't I.

I know people like to laugh at him but Fitz had a better career (made more money) than 90% of Qbs drafted.

And I like Rosen even more after watching how terrible UCLA is.

Rosen

Darnold

Rudolph

Mayfield (could change if he performs in the playoff)

Jackson

Allen

Like I said, it's just a piece of the scouting puzzle.

I am very happy that they killed the drought, but with yesterday's win I am starting to think that they are out of range for a good QB prospect in round 1.  I haven't watched the prospects enough yet, but as of now, I would not trade both 1st round picks to move up for any of the prospects other than Rosen, Mayfield or Darnold.  They don't have the ammo to get Rosen and Darnold has been shaky.  I expect Mayfield to be gone in the top15 as well.

Start looking at the second/third group of QBs - and I now kind of expect Taylor back for next season.
