scribo Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 I think Becht would fit in well with the Bills' run game. I think losing Blaylock will really hurt the Chiefs.
BuffaloWings Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 I think losing Blaylock will really hurt the Chiefs. 258575[/snapback] They have Larry Johnson (of Penn State fame), so I think they'll be ok. They probably would have gotten something in return for Blaylock if they could have traded him, but since he's a FA, they get nothing.

duey Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Becht is nothing more than another blocker. He's got brutal hands, and can't seem to get himself open. If we are looking for a TE, we need a guy who's going to be a viable pass-catching option.

I would rather have a TE who can block and give that extra second for JP to make a throw to the WR or RBs.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Wasn't Becht one of those 4 1st round Jets picks a few years back? Was that the draft where the Jets fans were slapping themselves in the head on 2 of those 4 picks?
