Beef Jerky Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Double it Again, 43-21 in the last 4 years with smith and 23-9 in the last 2. In smith's last two seasons with sf, the team went 17-3. a He hasn't been the reason they were winning. Keep holding onto the past, the Bills own the future.
dubs Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Well CRAP. NFL.com was reporting initially it was KC's 1st and 3rd in 2018 only! idiots! That feels better still does not seem like a great deal honestly. It's 27 and 3rd this year and 1st next year. Is that why people are freaking out. Would make sense.
Big Blitz Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Can't wait to find out we were the team that gave Conley the lie detector test and take him at 27. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
Saxum Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 You're right of course, but you have to assume that it factored into the Bills' calculus when making this move... which means (probably) that their scouting department thinks it's going to be a deep class. But it's all prognosticating which is never exact. What difference does that make if all of the scouting staff is being fired? [unless that article is a bunch of bull of course]
dave mcbride Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Because some people are only happy if they're b*tching Actually, i'm practically always a koolaid drinker on draft night. Not this time, although i think the fact that davis and ross went off the board was the driver of the trade.
Yav Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 They finally have a hard schedule this year. They are a prime team to fall off This ^ They've gone 43-21 the last four years and have been 23-9 the last two in a strong division, talent wise. Take a look at the past few seasons. Last year the Raiders were a strong team and Denver was horrible and the Chargers were garbage, the year before the Raiders were average, Denver won the SB and the Chargers were garbage. Where is this strong division? KC has had very weak schedules and yes they won games. When your team depends on turnovers and scores from special teams and the defense to win games you're setting yourself up for failure. Alex Smith is too scared to throw the ball and push it down field. 1
K D Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 So if that is right, why do folks think we should have gotten more? I'm confused. Because KC is a playoff team and will be picking late again next year. It might as well be a 2nd round pick if it's in the neighborhood of pick 30
DJB Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 (edited) They did not in any way, shape or formWe moved back 17 Browns moved back 13 and they got thesame return. A 1st and 3rd Plus KC is far better than Houston Edited April 28, 2017 by DJB
dave mcbride Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 a He hasn't been the reason they were winning. Keep holding onto the past, the Bills own the future. Lol (i think!).
12Kachy Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Yeah KC isn't that good of a team. I think the pick is anywhere 15-20 next year, right around same spot the Bills will be 10-20 range. I hope your right, but with the schedule, new coaches and schemes, the Bills are back in the top 10 next season. Probably around 6.
klos63 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Nice move. I smell McD all over this one... how so?
BigDingus Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 They have all the ammunition they need to land a legit blue chip QB prospect next year. BOOM But you know this time next year all we'll be hearing is how "this QB class is weak, let's wait till 2019 for the stronger class."
34-78-83 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 We moved back 17 Browns moved back 13 and they got thesame return. A 1st and 3rd Plus KC is far better than Houston They did not get a third

dave mcbride Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 This ^ Take a look at the past few seasons. oldmanfan Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Good move. They can use the third this year on a DB in a deep draft for that. And get another first.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Man Texans just keep drafting QBs like there's no tomorrow. Yet they keep getting good players elsewhere. That's a great scouting department. EXCEPT in scouting QBs LOLand yet they actually make the playoffs almost every year and we are the biggest disgrace in professional sports....yeah, stupid Texans
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 It's going to be the Jets, Browns and Bills gunning for Darnold next year. Jets and Browns will have top five picks because of a terrible record. Bills will have a chance because they'll have two picks to offer a team picking one or two that already has a QB of the future, say the Bears maybe.
What a Tuel Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Ok, enough about the value! What do we do with 27?
