BuffaloBud420 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 The Pats must have like Gilmore enough to take him from us in FA. So...Pats have a QB
mikemac2001 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 I mean I thought Coach McD came from a team who didn't value corners. now we got arguably 2 very good young corners in Darby and White. I'm confused coach! But he wants hard workers and leaders and you always need corners
par73 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 When you get to this point in the draft, you look at need. He is also a good returner. Not an exciting pick-- but this is what you expect late in the first round.
Bills Fan of St Augustine Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Not an exciting pick but solid...Area of need....I'm ok with it when the trade was Lattimore agaisnt him a third and a #1 next year. I hope KC has a tough year!
RussellDopeland Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Hope White becomes an elite corner. That being said- I really hate this franchise (30 years of fandom notwithstanding).
Juice_32 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 We got a starter. He's solid if unspectacular. Time to get 3 or 4 more.
Do The Reich Thing Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 I literally do not get you people that don't like this. I get it that it's not a glam pick, but this is a fantastic pick.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Let your top CB walk because it's not important in this scheme. So then you use your 1st round pick on one? Wow stupidthis x100. Corner is never important enough to pay...but then waste our 1st picks on them every other year. Then wonder why we suck
BuffaloBud420 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Luckily I think we won't need to resign this guy when his contract is up. Bust.
Kirby Jackson Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 I like it. Don't love it but with the trade it's a great start to the draft. He wore 18 at LSU twice. That tells you where he stands there. 7.5 out of 10 and the first round is 9.5 out of 10.
BillsFan3434 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 I would have taken Reuben Foster at 10. I would have died if we got him plus an extra first and a 3rd. You select athletes in the first, not really needs. I don't particularly like it.
Koufax Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 I like the name. I think it was featured in a Key & Peele episode once.
34-78-83 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 4 year starter and captain. Plays equally well inside and out.
Turk71 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 liked kevin king more. there are some later round gems to be found at cb as well.
mikemac2001 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 We had to draft a cb in first 2 rds I would have hated cb at 10 but I'm good with cb 3rd and 1st next year (for the 10th spot)
Jerry Jabber Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 He'll be gone in five years. The Bills will never learn, how many first round picks have been used on DB's over the years and weren't resigned after their rookie deal?!
MAJBobby Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Maybe they actually are using analytics now. 11:17 p.m. ET, April 27 Buffalo Bills Round 1, pick No. 27: TreDavious White, CB, LSU Bills steal PFFs No. 2 CB late in Round 1 after trade down The Bills took a calculated risk earlier in the evening by moving down 17 spots with the Chiefs, and by our standards, that gamble paid off handsomely. White earned the highest overall and coverage grades in the draft class, as he gave up a completion percentage of just 42.6 into his primary coverage and defended a total of 14 passes. With the Bills losing Stephon Gilmore to the Patriots in free agency, cornerback was a huge need, and they locked up our second-highest rated prospect at the position. Josh Liskiewitz, @PFF_Josh
26CornerBlitz Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 @StillTalkinTV Mayock on White: i think he is not flashy, he'a not sexy but he is one of the most solid corners in this draft @JaySkurski Tre'Davious White was valedictorian of Green Oaks High School and has earned his degree from LSU in sports administration. #Bills
