mikemac2001 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 (edited) CB Tre'Davious White has some of the most consistent tape of this CB class. He's a technician. He tackles. And he can find the ball. Good value here for the Bills at No. 27. Matt Bowen, ESPN Staff Writer Sounds like Winfield Edited April 28, 2017 by mikemac2001
BuffaloBillsGospel Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 On a side note i think I picked Tre'Davious White correct on the $50.00 fan challenge thingy.
Royale with Cheese Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 As soon as New England took him a lot of people changed their tune. Many Bills fans have an inferiority complex and they project it by whining without any clue how things will turn out. As if teams don't draft to replace players they lose in free agency all the freaking time. Soooooooo true
NoSaint Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Lombardi's analysis is not looking at the right numbers. The relevant factor isn't increase or inflation in contracts over time. It is current price of FA CB vs price of a rookie CB. It's not even close how much the Bills are going to save in plugging and playing 27th pick White on a rookie deal over paying FA Gilmore. (All those other named positions are in the same pay grade if not higher)
dgrochester55 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 I like what happened tonight overall. The pick wasn't flashy but filled a need. The team has an extra 3rd pick tomorrow who could fill another hole. Most importantly, we have that extra first rounder in next years strong QB class. This could give Buffalo more leverage if they end up needing to move on at quarterback next year. Makes things easier to trade up if needed.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 That's actually a good catch though. Common man. You have to take every shot you can at rodak!
Prop Joe Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 There were franchise difference makers available at 10 and we didn't get one. we will get to see white try to tackle oj howard soon enough
BuffaloBud420 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 You have to figure in a really sweet trade on this pick. Yeah a late 20 pick next year. So great.
NoSaint Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Common man. You have to take every shot you can at rodak! I agree but that isn't one of them
papazoid Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 was listening on satelite radio when pick was made for what its worth...Bill Polian loved the pick and the trade
Augie Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Yeah a late 20 pick next year. So great. And an extra #3 this year in a deep draft. I'm just fine with all this.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 You won't be upset this time next year. History is on my side.
MAJBobby Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Sounds like Winfield I havent read anything bad about the pick from the Experts
SoCal Deek Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Whitner Winfield Byrd Mc Kelvin Gilmore Darby Tre D Need I say more???

Mc D wants leaders, hard workers and intelligent players. Seems to me he's running this draft back there. I like the pick, fills a need and another 3rd tomorrow. Well done. Chuck Wagon Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Hate it. Foster, Ramzcyk and Njoku on the board but of course we do the Bills thing and take another DB we won't pay in 4-5 years in a loaded DB class.
IDBillzFan Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 And yet, earlier in this very thread, people compare him to mckelvin. Yikes.I don't know anything about the player and I sure the hell will never pretend that I'm smart enough to determine, today, how good ANY of these picks will be in the future. But I sure get lots of chuckles reading the people who do. I mean LOTS of chuckles. Draft day is my second favorite day of the off season on this board. Right after the day the schedules are released.
