Since whaley is on thin ice, mainly for passing on dalton wilson , carr and dak. Isnt he in a lose lose situation by not taking a qb high in the 1st or 2nd??

 

Obviously this is not why you draft a qb high but the only way he keeps his job is getting a top qb.

 

If he passes on a qb high, then we realistically are 500 or worse. Its even worse if he passes and a qb is good.

 

If he picks the qb and he sucks it doesnt matter because hes fired anyway.

 

So logically his only winning outcome is to take one of the four qbs he likes the most at ten. To me he has no choice
