DC Tom Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Big deal. I've done that... Or was that an 87 in 300 seconds?
eball Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Right before his 12th roll the cameraman says "one time" --
Saxum Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I guess they need to do what they did with FG kicking - make it harder maybe putting obstacles on way to pins.
Augie Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Apparently I go too slow. I knew something was wrong.....
ExiledInIllinois Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Big deal... Even easier, it is all "muscle memory"... Try stopping for 15 minutes between frames I would be more impressed if he bowled a perfect game... Have him walk away, sit down, get back up and set, etc... Somebody has to be the killjoy.
ChevyVanMiller Posted April 26, 2017 Author Posted April 26, 2017 I recently rented out a local bowling alley and attempted the same feat. I am very proud to report that I now hold the world's record for fastest 79-game in 82 seconds
Cereal Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 This is super-cool. Anyone see any articles or anything describing the planning of his feat? How many attempts did it take?

row_33 Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Don't you have to hoist 5 brews and smoke 3 heaters to make it a complete game?
WotAGuy Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 (edited) This is super-cool. Anyone see any articles or anything describing the planning of his feat? How many attempts did it take? This is the brother of a friend of mine. I heard an interview with him on the Bob and Tom Show this morning. It was his fifth attempt at this. It sounded like they were 5 separate events. He said he used 8 of his own balls and the others were off the rack. He works at the alley he did the stunt at. He said if he had to try again, he would go from lane 10 to lane 8 instead of going all the way back to lane 1. He bowled his first 300 game at 20 yrs old. He admitted it was a stunt and not a real "game". Sounded like a pretty cool guy. Edited April 27, 2017 by WotAGuy

He could probably trim another 10 seconds off of his time by going to lane 8.
