BananaB Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Give up basically.... Unload guys, stock pile picks, wait patiently for legit QB that can lead this team. Then once Brady retires we start to build.

Captain Murica Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Based on what? Based on what? The Bills 3rd leading rusher being signed to a front loaded contract by our division foes.
akm0404 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Why don't you show us on the doll where Tom Brady touched you?
BillsFanForever19 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 What are all those Bills fans who got Mike Gillislee jerseys going to do?!?!?!?!
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 (edited) giving up is never an option. your 2nd post speaks volumes OP, volumes... Edited April 24, 2017 by DaBillsFanSince1973

Heck, how would Luck look if he were on one of those two teams? You have to keep building the roster so that when you find a QB (like a Dak Prescott), he and your team are in a great position to contend for the future. If the Bills have a great draft, they still have Taylor, Jones, maybe Kelly, and the 2018 draft class as the possibilities to finally figure out who the future franchise QB will eventually be.

"You have to keep building the roster" is a true statement. But the talent that walked this off-season far exceeds what was added to the roster even when you account for this draft class. Good teams keep their good players and then build on that. Bad teams draft to replace their good players that walk because the franchise blows. We are looking at 4-12. The players know management already surrendered 2017. Maybe Kelly? Kelly is a loser off the field and has a history of injuries when he's on the field. He'd be a waste of a pick.

I mean, you truly believe that when the likes of Kyle Williams chose to come back instead of retiring?
mead107 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Just wasted my time and money buying season tickets. You might as well become a patriots fan with your out look.

Are they not a good team? They let plenty of good players go. Edited April 24, 2017 by Kirby Jackson

The point is that this roster is still in decent shape for a franchise QB to have success if they ever hit on one this year or in 2018. I certainly don't consider Gilmore, Woods and Gillespie as irreplaceable talent. Every NFL team loses players like that due to cap situations.
