Do The Reich Thing Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Watching the Bills schedule release hype video on bb.com reminded me of my favorite moment I have ever been a part of in Buffalo. The comeback against NE in 2011 to end the drought! Particularly the Drayton Florence interception after it was deflected by Dareus's helmet. Unforgettable, and I will remember that for the rest of my life. What's your favorite memory?
Buffalo Boy Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 1988. Freddy Smerlas blocks the game winning Jets kick to send it into OT. We won the game and AFC east and my buddy Tim and I( and half the stadium) made it onto the field and tore down the goal posts.
Bills Fan in MD Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 I was at the comeback against the Oilers in 1993. I was home from college and didn't get tickets in advance, but decided to go the morning of as I heard that the game wasn't close to sold out. I still remember watching people trying to climb the gates to get back in after they had left.

How else would you have seen them try to climb the gates to get back in from your seat? Doh!
I'm Spartacus Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Watching the last 8 head coaches either getting fired or quit.
ndirish1978 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 I hooked up with a girl I really liked, the Bills were on in the background. That's my greatest Bills memory.
Bills of Boston Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 I'd have to say meeting Marv Levy and his wife at a restaurant in Harvard Sq.. It was genuinely outrageous how nice they both were and how happy they were to meet a Bills fan.
Haslett_Stomp Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 AFC Championship against the Raiders. The Bills could do no wrong that day.
Kirby Jackson Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 The comeback and the Raiders championship game are my two favorites.
TPS Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 When the Bills beat the chiefs to go to their fourth straight super bowl, and how the crowd stood and cheered for some 20-30 minutes after the game. Favorite game was Flutie's first win against Jacksonville.
Chandler#81 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 AFC Championship against the Raiders. The Bills could do no wrong that day. Yeah, I gotta say this, though it really wasn't much of a contest. The best part was partying with EVERYBODY at Halftime in the walkways. Such a thrill knowing we're going to our 1st Super Bowl and there was still another half to play. For Championship competitiveness, 10-7 over the Bronco's the following year was edge of the seat thrilling. I'm sure the cheering when Carlton Bailey scored still hangs over the stadium.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 The Bills breaking the 0-20 losing streak against Miami.
thebandit27 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 There will never be anything like The Comeback game. I get literal chills every time I think about it--incredible.
DrDawkinstein Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Im lucky that I was growing up in the 80s and my family had seasons, so with that... Storming the field after clinching AFC East against the Jets (I was 9) Comeback game against the Oilers 51-3 trouncing of the Raiders to go to our first SB, game over by half so it was just one big party. The "Let it Snow" game vs Miami Having the Ravens fans downstairs come upstairs to celebrate with a packed Bills Backers Bar when we beat the Pats in 2011
dwight in philly Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 (edited) i have two.. beating miami in 1980 and watching roosevelt leaks score that TD to beat them.. and mick-mayer FG in OT(i believe) to beat the rams when smerlas and haslett came back out on the field .. it was the glorious early 80's Knox years.. and one more.. any game i went to at the rockpile as a kid in early 60's. Figster Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Pegula ending the thought of our team leaving Buffalo was the greatest Bills moment for me.
BigdaddyinOrlando Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 As a kid in the early 80s, was at the game against NE. I believe Ferguson threw a Hail Mary into the end zone and if I recall Jerry Butler, mayb Frank Lewis, caught it to win the game. Happened right in front of my dad and I.
klos63 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 The comeback and the Raiders championship game are my two favorites. mine too, add the win against Miami in 1980.
