PIZ Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Trubisky, Mahomes, and Watson. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000800949/article/2017-nfl-draft-how-many-quarterbacks-will-go-in-the-first-round
Augie Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Mel Kiper says Trubiniski sucks. I wonder how much he worries about his track record. Is his name too big to let facts take home down? Didn't he love Clausen?

LABILLBACKER Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 We could pick any of about 7 different players if we stay at 10. Who knows??
TSOL Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Man, if one of these guys turns out to be good and we dont take 'em im gonna be SOOO PISSED!
transplantbillsfan Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Shots in the dark... such a strange draft year.
Saxum Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Man, if one of these guys turns out to be good and we dont take 'em im gonna be SOOO PISSED! Actually I think it does not make a difference - your shorts are always yellow.
LeGOATski Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 I'm going on record with 2. Watson and Mahomes.
mikemac2001 Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 I'll trust the god father on this one it seems about right
DefenseWins Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Mel Kiper says Trubiniski sucks. Some say that Mel Kiper sucks... So?
PIZ Posted April 20, 2017 Author Posted April 20, 2017 I like Trubisky. I used to really like Mahomes, but recent interviews I've seen make him seem arrogant. Maybe that's a good characteristic for a QB, but I want to like our franchise QB. Every year it seems we Bills fans talk the draft to death, and somehow we hone in on the pick. This year I'm feeling like it's Trubisky, Derek Barnett, or Reddick.
GunnerBill Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 I think those 3 will go in the 1st too. Kizer might..... but I think he is dependant on a team trading back into the 1st.
PIZ Posted April 20, 2017 Author Posted April 20, 2017 I should have included Peppers above. Not sure I like him, but he would be an ideal fit in this D. Related to the original post....."Mahomes senses heightened interest from Texans O'Brien"....http://www.nfl.com/labs/rr/pathtothedraft/mahomes

eball Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 (edited) I wonder how much he worries about his track record. Is his name too big to let facts take home down? Didn't he love Clausen? I'll tell you how much -- Not. One. Bit. As soon as the draft is over these guys move on to the next draft, and they're never held accountable for their predictions. It's the primary reason I don't pay much (if any) attention to anything leading up to the draft. I'll research players after the Bills select them. Edited April 20, 2017 by eball
WideRightRevenge Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 I live in NC ... I don't think Trubisky has enough experience ... he's a Bortles clone to me .... its funny but week before the draft both on NFL network and ESPN ... the talking heads are all jumping on the Mahomes bandwagon ... apparently the arm is unmatched in the draft ... I struggle ... as his teams weren't winning teams ... I'll sit back for kid from USC next year .. if we screw up this year. I'd rather us go in other direction and avoid taking one of these guys at 10. The quality QB's come from the 3rd and 4th rounds of late ... see history of Wilson, Prescott, and Cousins. So look at the QB's from Pitt, Tennessee and have them battle Yates or Jones. I'd like to see Cardale with another summer camp ... I think his arm is good enough for this league.
oldmanfan Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 They might be locks to be taken round 1 but they're not locks to succeed.
