dbflaBill Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Bias says Mack, as I've seen both his college and HS career. But MG is the much better back. Other than that, thats not a confident list. Perine, and the kid from SDSU who had a great career may turn into solid pros.
Bangarang Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 (edited) Maybe I'm just in the minority of people who aren't too concerned if MG leaves. I certainly wouldn't call RB a need at that point. Edited April 19, 2017 by Bangarang
Cleveland Rocks? Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 This is the best RB draft I can remember
bisonbrigade Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 If it the "best" RB draft, why are the Patriots signing Gillislee?
dbflaBill Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 This is the best RB draft I can remember Best draft for RB yet the BEST team the last 17years Would rather spend a 5th on the Bills RB, But the Bills know better and will find a better RB?
thunderingsquid Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Dayes and Logan looked great. We just need more picks. I'm hoping they are there in the 5th.
schoolhouserock Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Maybe I'm just in the minority's of people who aren't too concerned if MG leaves. I certainly wouldn't call RB a nerd at that point. I wouldn't call any of the RBs a nerd either - they'd beat me up and I wouldn't be fast enough to run away!

Cleveland Rocks? Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 If it the "best" RB draft, why are the Patriots signing Gillislee? Better question for them, but I'd guess it is because they don't draft very well and would probably take the wrong one. That's why they traded for Cooks.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Perine, Foreman, Conner I've seen and like a lot. A big fat NO to Daveon Smith from Mich....slow, slower, slowest
BillsFan2313 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Joe Williams has some character issues, but the talent is undeniable. Might be a top 2 round type talent. He gets my vote.

Wayne Arnold Posted April 19, 2017 Author Posted April 19, 2017 If it the "best" RB draft, why are the Patriots signing Gillislee? Because no matter what they'll be right because Brady. Better question for them, but I'd guess it is because they don't draft very well and would probably take the wrong one. That's why they traded for Cooks. Or they realize the draft is a tremendous crapshoot and they'd rather spend draft picks on young players who have proven that they can play in the league. But regardless, the perception is that everything they do is great because Brady.

Pats are swinging for the fences this year. For 2017 MG is better than anybody they could draft in the 5th, so it's a no brainer for them

Dorkington Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 I think for the Patriots, 2017 is all about redeeming 2007. They're going undefeated. At this point, anything less would be a disappointment.
