dbflaBill Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 IF MG leaves, obviously RB is now a weakness. IF a team is willing to give up a 1 for Hughs, would you trade him to get back into the 1st round to draft a top 3 rb? I mean I'd give up Hughs for a 1 immediately regardless. But in this scenario strictly just for a RB.
Kirby Jackson Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 I wouldn't trade Hughes unless they drafted Thomas. I don't care about the top 3 backs in this draft. It is PLENTY deep for a team looking for a #2. I would think one of their 5th round picks will be used on that.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 I'd rather just draft a RB with the extra 5th we're getting for Gilly. Or trade that 5th to Dallas for Alfred Morris.
Royale with Cheese Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 I don't think it's smart to draft a first round RB to replace a back up RB.
YoloinOhio Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 In the strongest RB draft in two decades? To replace our backup who was unemployed last November and we signed off the street. I'm going to go with "no" on this one.

You need to draft to prepare for the future. Right now if MG leaves there is no future RB on the team. Thats a huge problem for a running team with a maybe avg QB. Williams hasn't done a thing to prove he is good enough to play. While many want a RB that average 5.7 yards a carry for 2yrs to leave.

No need for the trade.

Bangarang Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 we replaced him with MG 5.7 How hard could it be to replace 6 carries per game? We still have Shady right? Cool that's all I care about.
Zulu Cthulhu Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 we replaced him with MG 5.7 You're obviously still participating in your thread, so why not fix your title?
DasNootz Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 RB is about the easiest position to fill.... I'd take a 1st for Hughes, but I wouldn't blow it on a RB
Royale with Cheese Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 we replaced him with MG 5.7 So we can't replace MG...it stops right there?

I'd take a 1st for Hughes, but I wouldn't blow it on a RB I believe thats largely overstated but I get where your coming from, and I agree I would trade hughs for a 1 in second, but no not on a RB.
