ndirish1978 Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 I get that part. It's the Pats "laughing and destroying us" part that doesn't change. Ah ok. Yeah that's not going to change.
Iron Maiden Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 I get that part. It's the Pats "laughing and destroying us" part that doesn't change. They would still destroy us....but without the evil laugh....it would be more of a " feeling sorry for us " kinda look....
Billy Zabka Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 For the people who think Whaley is a genius for getting a late fifth round pick for Gillislee...this is the same guy that traded an early 4th for Bryce Brown.
PlayoffsPlease Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 I hear the pats are going to go to strict ground and pound offense next year. G is the cornerstone.
YoloinOhio Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 For the people who think Whaley is a genius for getting a late fifth round pick for Gillislee...this is the same guy that traded an early 4th for Bryce Brown.also got a 3rd for Stevie who never did anything after he left Buffalo
Billy Zabka Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 also got a 3rd for Stevie who never did anything after he left Buffalo after he used two 1sts and 4th on his replacement in the best WR draft in recent memory off 6-10 season with EJ Manuel as his starter.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 They would still destroy us....but without the evil laugh....it would be more of a " feeling sorry for us " kinda look.... Well that makes it better after he used two 1sts and 4th on his replacement in the best WR draft in recent memory off 6-10 season with EJ Manuel as his starter. He stole Jerry Hughes from the Colts.
Billy Zabka Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 (edited) Well that makes it better He stole Jerry Hughes from the Colts. Buddy Nix was GM for that trade. If you are going to give blame to Nix for EJ you can't give Whaley credit for Hughes. Edited April 21, 2017 by Billy Zabka
YoloinOhio Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 after he used two 1sts and 4th on his replacement in the best WR draft in recent memory off 6-10 season with EJ Manuel as his starter. call the whiner line!
Billy Zabka Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 call the whiner line! Just stating facts. Whaley isn't good enough, his record speaks for itself despite the endless excuses by some on here.
Deranged Rhino Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Just stating facts. Whaley isn't good enough, his record speaks for itself despite the endless excuses by some on here. Even though I disagree with the bolded, I still love your handle.
Billy Zabka Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Even though I disagree with the bolded, I still love your handle. Much appreciated.
Deranged Rhino Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 No it won't change. But Whaley will look even more like an idiot when MG is running up and down our defense while the 5th round pick they got for him blows. I have a feeling that hypothetical 5th round pick won't be on the field as much as Shady... who is the starting RB.
Deranged Rhino Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 And he won't be nearly as productive as MG. I'll bet you right now Shady has more yards from scrimmage and TDs by the end of the year.
oldmanfan Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 No it won't change. But Whaley will look even more like an idiot when MG is running up and down our defense while the 5th round pick they got for him blows. Or vice versa. I can pretend to know the future as easily as you can
PromoTheRobot Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Buddy Nix was GM for that trade. If you are going to give blame to Nix for EJ you can't give Whaley credit for Hughes. You are correct, sir. Nix was still GM for 2 more weeks. On April 29, 2013, the Colts traded Hughes to the Buffalo Bills for linebacker Kelvin Sheppard.
Deranged Rhino Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 The 5th round pick that they get for MG won't be nearly as productive as MG. But hey, they saved $900K. That's a lousy comparison though because that 5th round pick could play any position. It's not apples to apples, it's pre-complaining just to complain.
Needle Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 (edited) The 5th round pick that they get for MG won't be nearly as productive as MG. But hey, they saved $900K.👍🏻 Plenty of equivalent or better running backs have been drafted in the 5th round or later since Gillislee was taken in the fifth round. Edited April 21, 2017 by Drewski
baskingridgebillsfan Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 And he won't be nearly as productive as MG. but they got Mg by dumpster diving , why can't they find another the same way ? No it won't change. But Whaley will look even more like an idiot when MG is running up and down our defense while the 5th round pick they got for him blows. one of the other 5 running backs the pats have can also run up and down on our d. Let's not turn Mg into Jim Brown
John from Riverside Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 And he won't be nearly as productive as MG. Oh come on now Scott....I like Mike too....but the patriots have like 5 RBs right now AND Tom Brady Mike G. is not going to mean more to the patriots then our rbs will to us simply because of offensive scheme
