Trump's Request For Voters Information (changed topic)

Recommended Posts

In other news Gatorbait bought the Brooklyn bridge today for a surprisingly paltry sum.

How about you do us all a favor. For a change, instead of being the board's debbie downer, go find the evidence of massive voter fraud that no one else has been able to find. If you find it Trump may even give you a spot in his administration. Your title can be the chief executive of pissing in everyone's cornflakes.

Registering? Let me know when people vote for those dead people. His job was to register as many people as possible. Finally there is the damning proof that millions voted illegally and Trump actually won the popular vote!

31 fraudulent votes per 1 BILLION? And you BELIEVE that? And that makes me Debbie Downer?

I listed two studies, which is more than you have done to prove your point. Where is your evidence? You know a guy who knows a guy that heard bus loads of illegals were being bussed around to different states to vote? Give me a break.

Using your math mapped over the 2016 election turnout, there were approximately FOUR fraudulent votes placed. Give you a break?

Did you hit your head when you fell off?

If it was anybody else. Trump has no credibility. He's accused of cheating as it is.

Boy... What strange state our country is in. Like having Al Capone head an IRS commission looking into Capone's dealings. Handing the keys to Trump on this?

So surreal. We have never had a less credible and trustworthy president in our history.

Is this guy for real? Smoother than a burlap bag.

Probably, but I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday. How dense are you? I listed two studies, and believe voter fraud happens but is rare. I never said those two studies are the definitive standard. Where is your proof to the contrary? Oh yeah, it doesn't exist and you can't find or post any. Edited by gatorbait

4mer is smarter than you.

This information is what the Russians were fishing for, according to that Winner leak. No wonder Trump is trying to distract everyone with Morning Joe slander

The only reason this whole thing is going on is because Trump knows his rabid followers are dumb and he can't stand the fact he didn't win the popular vote. If I was a state governor I'd tell him to shove it as it only feeds the small group of crazies on the right.

Those worries intensified this week after the commission sent letters to 50 states and the District on Wednesday asking for a trove of information, including names, dates of birth, voting histories and, if possible, party identifications.

Serious question. Why is all this stuff stored anyway? I thought we had a secret ballot in this country.

No one should think a guy who set up a fraudulent University would be doing this on purpose. No.

White House officials also said the commission would recommend steps to help secure the integrity of the voting systems. In this vein, the letter asks how the commission can help local officials address information technology security and vulnerabilities.

But cyber specialists say the missive and its directions has the exact opposite effect. And the commissions request comes at a time when the Trump administration is already under fire from Democrats who say it is doing little to protect the electoral process from hackers.

Technical experts say the voter data that the commission wants to assemble would quickly become a single treasure trove for cyber criminals and foreign intelligence services. Identity thieves could use information such as addresses, birth dates and the last four digits of Social Security numbers for digital impersonations, and foreign spies could use it to fill out dossiers on Americans they hope to blackmail.

This information is particularly sensitive because it can be matched up with other stolen or publicly available information to build a more complete profile for an individual and target them for fraud or other exploitation, said Jason Straight, a data breach expert who serves as chief privacy officer at the business solutions firm UnitedLex.

Good question!

More from the politico article:

The commission’s alternative option, a file-hosting service run by a branch of the Army, isn’t currently configured to properly encrypt web traffic, which Hall said was “a massive red flag for their ability to properly secure other forms of secure file transfer.”

The perceived digital security miscues left many specialists stunned.

“Nothing about this letter appears to take information security into account,” said Matthew Green, a computer science professor and cryptography expert at Johns Hopkins University. “If I didn't know this letter was real, I would assume it was a clever spearphishing campaign.”

Well, in order for Trump to reverse the popular vote number, he needs to find approximately 12,000,000 fraudulent votes to tip the scale.

Good luck with that.
