PromoTheRobot
Don't know if you saw this or not. I thought this happened in Pittsburgh but I didn't look long enough to find out where it happened. http://boston.cbslocal.com/2017/03/21/new-boston-treatment-relieves-pain-without-surgery-brigham-womens-hospital/ That's funny. I just say an orthopedist at that very hospital. He never suggested this. Just replacement surgery.

row_33
A senior citizen in my life saw she could get both knees replaced at once, I smiled and said it's a possibility (thinking ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND??). Fortunately her surgeon told her in no uncertain terms that he wouldn't consider doing this on anyone over the age of 45, thank goodness, maybe her family doc (and friend) called him and begged him to kill this pipedream of hers... Both were replaced one at a time and she is doing fine.
Doc
Interesting that a SC injection in one knee helps improve the other one. And that MACI procedure sounds promising. Hopefully they have something proven and covered by the time I need it.
